This agency recommended by Lonely Planet is perfect. I wanted to visit both the interior and Ha Long by private junk.
Ms. Huong who speaks impeccable French organized a tour for us with a private guide over 4 days: night on stilt house, night in bed and breakfast, small junk which allows you to explore a bay below Ha Long and a thousand times less touristy. Swimming on small wild islets. Alone in the world. And an exceptional guide. I highly recommend.

We went through the French-speaking organizer of this agency who organized a 2-day, one-night cruise for us in Lan Ha Bay. Small junk with 4 cabins on a human scale, the best to recommend without moderation. In addition we forgot a telephone which was magically returned to us, a big thank you to Dao. In addition, another oversight on our part and again we no longer believed it, everything was returned 3 days later without problem. Not to mention the services provided by our host. Reservation of bus, plane or taxi or advice for this or that accommodation and always for an honest cost that corresponds to our desires.
We just booked the cruise and everything else was on the fly.

We enjoyed the company of our guide lady Chung. Very sweet. BUT there are some things that spoilt our trip.
With what we paid, considering the prices in Vietnam, we expected a more pleasant accommodation and not towels, bed linen and curtains worn and unpleasant. We were extremely disappointed when we got on the boat... not to mention that we had to get in in a very dangerous way...climbing on other boats, without a real pier, in the middle of nowhere, out of the normal harbour. The experience of the bay, which is beautiful, is spoiled by the extreme pollution of the waters which can cause, as happened to one of us, a severe problem of infection of a cut on a hand on the sharp shells of a beach which caused high temperature and had to be cured with antibiotics. The views on the bay are magic but probably are enjoyed better from a more comfortable boat. It'not worthy the price it costs.

Oriental Bridge a organisé nos visites à partir de Hanoi à la baie de Ha Long (en fait la baie de Bai Tu Long, aussi belle et moins fréquentée que Ha Long), puis de Ha Long terrestre (près de Tam Coc) et tout s’est déroulé à merveille avec l’aide de l’excellente Mme Huong. Nous avons été à bord d’un bateau Indochina Junk (le Prince 3 avec 4 cabines) pour la croisière 2 nuits/3 jours qui était tout simplement magique ! Notre guide anglophone Tai était adorable, et tout était parfait au niveau du bateau, de la nourriture et des activités et visites. Oriental Bridge a ensuite organisé notre transfert direct de Ha Long à Tam Coc, le logement Chez Loan, et la visite le lendemain avec la merveilleuse guide francophone Thom, qui nous a fait faire une belle balade à vélo, une visite des grottes en bateau et plusieurs autres sites merveilleux avant notre retour par voiture à Hanoi. Nous avons été impressionnés par l’organisation, la qualité des guides et bien sûr la beauté des sites. Nous recommandons chaleureusement Oriental Bridge qui nous a permis de découvrir en toute quiétude des coins splendides du Vietnam.

We booked the 2 days 1 night junk tour and it was just perfect. The guide was french speaking and took very good care of us from the beginning to the end. We had our 3YO son with us and the staff was very careful with him. The food was excellent, the program was great visiting a family on a floatting house and spending the night in a very quiet place.

Great experience in Lan Ha Bay (south of Ha Long). We booked a 2days-junk journey (the junk belongs to Blue Swimmers Adventure) and il was perfect! Great organization (thanks to Huong who is very kind and always available). We will book another trip to the Mékong Delta with them!

Nous avons reservé une jonque pour deux avec guide pour deux jours et une nuit a bord.
Le guide ("atchoum") est venu nous chercher à notre hôtel de hanoi, nous avons fait toute la croisière avec lui. et il nous as expliqué pleins de choses sur la vie des habitants les rochers et même sur la vie en ville.
L'équipage le guide était aux petits soins et très sympathique merci à eux ! 🥰
Nous avons très très bien manger c'était très copieux le cuisinier était très bon.
Nous avons visiter la baie d'halong, visiter une pisciculture, fait une ballade en kayak ou nous avons eu la chance d'appercevoir des singes a têtes blanches 😊
Nous n'avons pas souhaiter nous baigner à cause du temps (pluie) mais nous avons été ravis de cette jolie croisière dont nous nous souviendrons longtemps

Nous avons choisi la formule 2 jours/1 nuit à bord de la jonque collective « Cozy Boutique ». Tout était parfait : l’organisation, les transports, la jonque (neuve, literie très confortable, chambre très propre et bien équipée, douche l’italienne...), l’équipage, le guide francophone et les repas (Bun Bo, excellentes crêpes au petit déjeuner, fruits exotiques...). Nous avons passé un excellent moment à bord. Seul bémol : un timing un peu serré parfois dans l’emploi du temps de la journée

Superb experience from start to finish! Highly recommended. Ms Thanh at the Hanoi office communicated brilliantly over email as we planned our trip; we then met her and her friendly team in their Hanoi office where we were made very welcome and given tea and our itinerary.
Excellent transfers included from Hanoi to Cat Ba island to join the junk, Oriental Sun. We booked a private 2 person cruise on board.
Once on the junk our guide Mike, the captain and cook looked after our every need, allowing time for swimming whenever we wanted.
The food was superior - seafood at all meals and a delicious hot pot for the evening meal. (Tip: bring your own wine/beer as the wine is extra and expensive).
Kayaking around the caves and lagoons of Lan Ha was wonderful, and we saw the rare langur monkeys. Also a lovely visit to a fishing village on the second day before departure and transfer back to Hanoi.
This trip was worth every penny!
