This is such an expensive Karaoke place, and the rooms smell like cigarettes. There are better value karaoke places out there Eg Lam Son Karaoke!

I and my friends-5 people totally- came to this karaoke after dinner today. We sang at Titan room on the 4th floor. The staff is so impolite. We ordered 1 big plates of fruit, but a waiter brought 10 bottles of mineral water and put them on the table. Then he keeps looking at from the outside to check if we drink water or not. After half an hour, he reminds us to drink water - each person must drink one bottle. Of course we don't accept so such polite, then we decided to get out of here. The fee for 1 hour to sing here is 350k, and one fruit plate is 350, one small bottle of mineral water 300ml is 45k, I think that's why the staff member forced us to drink them continously. Please don't come here if you want a private place to enjoy with your friends and get the good service.

As a karaoke lover, I was keen to try out some karaoke while visiting Vietnam. I'd heard so much about the karaoke here so I looked up some places in Ho Chi Minh and this had ok reviews on Google and wasn't far from our hotel. I checked out their Facebook page to find they had a special offer on daytime bookings too. Bonus!
Turns out, it was an awful experience. We had some time before our flight and after we had checked out of our hotel so went to take advantage of the discount room hire rates.
First, they tried to give us the full evening price (200k vnd/hour) but I pointed at the discount sign (all the pricing charts are in Vietnamese) and asked about it. So they said yes there's a discount but you have to buy 6 drinks... We had been on a food tour the night before and I asked with the local guides about whether you have to buy food and drink at karaoke bars and they said you don't have to.
Anyways, after a little more negotiating where the guy at the cashier said a fruit juice was ok, we were taken to a room. Immediately they asked us to order. So we ordered a fruit juice (75k vnd) and a tiger (55k vnd). We started to select songs and realised there were maybe 30-40 English artists and not many of the popular songs from the artists, mostly ones we hadn't heard of.
Within the first song, our drinks arrived. Then maybe 2-3 minutes later, a staff member came back in to ask us to order more. We said we were fine and she left. Another 5 minuets later, they came back to ask us to order food. I asked if we could just pay the full 100vnd for the weekday hour instead of getting the discount and ordering food because we weren't hungry. She seemed ok with this and left.
Another 5 minutes and this fruit plate is brought to us - we said we didn't order it and then the staff members argued about it but took it away. A few minutes later and they came in with a note saying that if we wanted 80% off the hour, we needed to order 6 drinks. We were only staying for an hour so really didn't want 6 drinks (especially at that cost!)
We maybe got to about 45 minutes and staff came back in for more orders so we just said that was enough and we were leaving. Really not knowing what to expect at the cashier, she ended up charging us 160k vnd. I'm not sure if we had the full hour or not but the constant interruptions and pressure to buy stuff made this so uncomfortable. And the songs weren't even that great to balance it out.
Hopefully you can find a better karaoke place to enjoy! Do not go here.

Discreto Karaoke, sale spaziose e accoglienti , tutto nella normalità. Offerta di frutta , cibarie e bevande accettabile.

My first impression on the place is big sparkling building, large number of staff, royal-like style, etc. but the quality is extremely bad and not value for money.
1) The sound: is not clear and there are many songs that lyrics are not yet separated. This really annoys when you are singing and the singer interrupts.
2) The food: tolerable but relatively high price. It costs 30,000VND for 350ml of water, and 350,000VND for a dish of fruit (some slices of grapefruit, mangoes, grapes and guava).
3) The staff is very rude, especially at the parking lot. They are not polite and act as if we were inferior to them! So inside staff is not hospitable at all since they keep stay inside your room as if they were monitoring your activities.
4) Song database is wide and diverse. But the room has only on device to choose the song and it is static - it is sticked into the wall near the screen. That's why people sitting far from the screen are reluctant to select their favorite songs.
5) The space is wide but the arrangements are extremely non-sense and uncomfortable. The sofas are far from each other and if you with your team, it is impossible to share the atmosphere or socialize with others.
By and large, this place is very bad as I have experienced most of major karaoke stores in HCMC and the quality of KING is below average but the price is unbearably high.
