The venue is beautiful, but it’s overly expensive for what it provides. I don’t think it was worth the effort to get there.

Nadam (now called Adam?) spa is conflicted. Is it a proper ‘wellness’ facility? Or is your run-of-the-mill men's bathhouse? It doesn’t seem to know—or care.
On the surface, this place is beautiful. Considering it’s in the middle of a bustling neighborhood, they did a terrific job at creating a sanctuary vibe (at least before its expansion—which I’ll get to later). The staff were mostly polite and will take you where you need to go. The rates to enter and have a couple drinks are cheap too.
Here’s where the place annoys me: Adam spa pretends that people are using their facilities for “therapeutic” purposes. And such, the steam, sauna and jacuzzi are ridiculously small and in no way can accommodate the amount of people there on a given night.
They also tout their massage therapists as being professionally trained. Let me tell you—they’re not. It’s a glorified rub down, done quickly and they then expect a hefty tip. It’s off-putting.
There are also signs discouraging “hanky-panky.” If that’s the case, then why dress your staff in skimpy towels? Why expand your facility to feature a bar / lounge playing dance music? Why keep the lights almost entirely off in the sauna? Why have semi-private rooms?
On that note, they did expand this place recently to include a larger locker room area as well as a bar / lounge. I like the idea of having a place to talk to someone you’ve met, but the music was so loud. Again, not at all going in line with a ‘wellness spa.’ I felt like I was at a dance club—lame. The money would have been better spent on improving their actual sauna area.
Pre-expansion, Adam Spa did fit the "wellness" image a bit more. It was smaller, quiet and had a more intimate vibe. But after this? No way, it's laughable.
This place has potential, and under better management (with a clear vision), could probably reach it. However, at this moment (and likely the future) it’s middling at best. They'd be better if they would stop masquerading as a "spa" and just embrace what they are.
I guess I could suggest coming here once, but probably not again.

地點在胡志明市的外圍,交通不是很方便,需要搭計程車比較容易到達,環境還滿不錯,算是古色古香的風格,空間也滿大的。

For the two us, this was basically a ripoff. After reading good reviews we were anticipating something far better. This is a gay spa that has "erotic" massages masquerading as legitimate professional massages. Hardly professional. Complete waste of time and money.

Nadam Spa is one of the most beautiful Men's Spas i have been to. The wooden structures and stunning architecture makes one feel exhilirated. Its clean and the staff and masseurs are fabulous! will return there very time i go to Vietnam.

First time here and had a great time. Lovely design, and friendly helpful staff. My massage was also very enjoyable. I would definitely return.

I have mixed feelings about this place. It has great potential to be a truly superb sauna, HCMC’s answer to Bangkok’s Babylon, but is let down by poor management, who clearly don’t know what to do with it.
The good: a truly splendid space. Think old colonial wooden house, with outdoor patios full of greenery, fountains, tons of charm, a very well equipped gym (that nobody uses). This is just beautiful.
The staff are also very nice, greeting you with a smile when they see you (except the miserable sod at the counter, more on him later).
Now this place likes to think of itself as a serious, upmarket massage parlour and spa for men (ie. as is signposted everywhere, hanky panky is not tolerated). Fine, however this is where it starts going downhill. If you’re looking for a massage you will be shown a menu of masseurs and you will be required to pay for an additional hefty tip (as is de rigueur with these gay massage places where clients essentially turn up for the happy ending). And clearly, these guys are not professionally trained. They don’t offer sports or dry massage for instance, which of course require serious training. All you get is the usual oil rubbing with a bit of sensuality thrown in. The first time I went the guy was a bit clueless about technique. The second time I went the guy was much better (although still not at a professional level), but he rushed through the massage and finished after just about 1hr, whereas I had paid for 80min. How exactly does this fit in the ambition of the place to be professional?
As for the sauna part, there are no private cabins (again the pretence to be a serious place), but at the same time there will be hot staff members in towels pretending to be clients walking around to entice guests.
I think management need to figure out what they want to do with this place. If they want a professional high end massage place, they need to recruit professional masseurs and drop the sleazy parts (masseur catalogue, etc.). Or they just admit they’re like other gay massage places where people go for sex. But then they provide the “full service”, especially considering the prices they charge. As it is, it is neither here, nor there.
Finally, the guy at reception. What’s wrong with him? The owner maybe? Not a smile, not a « hello » when you arrive, not a “thank you” when you pay, not a “bye” when you leave. Rude as *uck and again not in line with what this place pretends to be. Shame as the potential is here.

Although it is some distance from central Saigon, Nadam is worth the trip because it offers highly professional services in a spotlessly clean environment.
I had spent the night on the train from Nha Trang to Ho Chi Minh City and a professional massage and later a soak in the spa was just what the doctor ordered to take away the stiffness in my back.
