Anh is an incredible guide! He readily shared his deep passion for food and culture making for a fascinating experience. The food was absolutely delucious and beautifully fresh. This was a highlight of our time in Vietnam! Thanks Anh!

Amazing cooking class showing off some of Hue’s traditional dishes. We got to cook three dishes and all of them were fantastic. Everything was clean and well presented. Anh was a fantastic teacher with great English.
Not only was the cooking class really informative but Anh provided plenty of information about the local culture and what the cuisine means to the people of Hue.

We had an unforgettable time with Anh. He came to pick us up by taxi and then we went to the local market. During this visit, he was very educational, gave us lots of information. He is always smiling. Then we went to the cooking class in a charming place. It was very clean. We cooked a starter and two dishes that we ate, it was really delicious. We finished with a dessert. It is one of our best experiences in Vietnam, we really enjoyed Anh and we recommend him 100%! Thanks again to Anh and his wife! 😃

This was a fantastic experience and I’d thoroughly recommend it. We were picked up at our hotel and taken to the local market to buy the food we would later cook. We were guided around the market, shown the different types of fruit, vegetable, meats and more. The experience and knowledge given to us during this time was fantastic.
We then took a short ride back to do some cooking. We made 4 dishes all of which everybody had the chance to take park in (4 people in total). It was incredibly fun but also very informative. We later got to eat all of the food that we cooked and left very full!! Everything was accommodated for and it was a fab way to learn more not just about Vietnamese food and cooking but more. Would thoroughly recommend.

Our family with 3 teens took part in Anh’s cooking class. Starting with a visit to the market where Anh told us about all the different fruits, vegetables, fish, etc; answering all our questions while purchasing ingredients for our class and lunch. Back at the home we all took part in preparing the ingredients, everyone chopped, mixed, stirred… we had a great time, and all the food we prepared was delicious. After a bit over 5 hours we were all full up with our delicious dishes, finished off with beautiful fresh fruit. It was interesting to see inside a home, and to hear Anh speak about Vietnamese life. We all had a great time and would highly recommend. So good to see someone making a go of something they’re obviously passionate about.

Imagine a cooking class and you’ll be heading in the right direction of the experience Anh gives. This is more than a cooking class, it’s a cultural experience mixed with food that explodes your taste buds. The visit to the market, with its fresh fish caught that morning, vibrant fruit and vegetables and aromas of lemon grass and herbs really punch those senses. Anh is a great teacher whose expertise, experience and passion for great Vietnamese food and customer satisfaction is second to none. I would highly recommend this experience to everyone, by far the best food on our tour of Vietnam, an authentic culinary adventure.

My partner and I spent the afternoon with Anh and it was the most enjoyable activity we have done in Vietnam! Nah is such a great host; very knowledgeable and friendly, he put us at ease at every step from touring the food market to grab our ingredients and then back to his place to cook everything. He also made sure were not going to leave hungry! The food is absolutely delicious! Thanks Anh!

If you are in Hue you need to do this. Anh picked us up, took us to the market, happily talked through things at the market - not just food related as items were bought for the class. Then we went back for the class. Anh engaged with all of the family - our 9 year old, 14 year old and both parents - everyone felt engaged and loved the experience. The cooking was great, clearly explaining processes. It was nice to be truly allowed to do the cooking under instruction, he never took over but always supported. The food was amazing. Our highlight was sitting around the bbq at the end as the final part of the meal was being cooked and just chatting with Anh about his upbringing and Vietnam. Felt like being at a bbq at home with friends. He even kindly emailed all the recipes to us - we are now home and plan to make these recipes again and again

We had a wonderful cooking class with Anh. We were allowed to ask anything and always received a detailed answer. He was super patient in explaining to us how to prepare the delicious Vietnamese food. Anh speaks English very well and is a humorous and warm person. Thank you! If you're looking for a great cooking class, book it!
