Visit Omar Ali Saifuddien Mosque.
Then walk across the bridge to the other side of the river. There’s a park on the other side where you can hire a buggy to drive around the park. Or you can hire bikes. If you walk further across the bridge (in the park area) you’ll come across a walkway that takes you straight into the floating village. No need for boat because you’re right there in the heart of the floating village. The wooden walkway into the water village isn’t for children or those afraid of walking on wooden panels without handrails or guards. The water village is worth a visit. Village People are friendly and welcoming. They don’t hassle you. You need to have an open mind and smile. When you smile, everyone smiles back. Don’t be afraid to speak to them. There’s local cuisines.

Similar to a river ride however what's different was the history of the water village where Brunei began and hosting of snacks by the owner of the tour company as part of a cultural immersion and hospitality of the people.
It was not easy to climb a ladder from the boat so if you have concerns please inform your guide.
The boat ride was refreshing, I saw some accommodations/lodges offered by some owners (air conditioned). It's possible to book your own ride or to cross from the mainland to a house somewhere in case you're in a do it yourself itinerary.

We rode through the village as well as trying to get a peek at the Palace. It was fascinating to see the schools and fire station, as well as the beautiful new bridge.

오래된 역사의 수상가옥 마을입니다. 브루나이에서도 몇 안남은 역사 문화 보존 구역인데요. 걸어서 구경하기에는 좀 시간이 많이 걸리니 보트 투어를 추천합니다. 선착장에서 흥정하면 됩니다.

This is definitely worth a visit to have a stroll around a rather unique environment. Wave over a water taxi for $1 per person and then take a leisurely walk around the village (arrows indicate permitted routes) taking in the different properties (checkout the pottery house!). There's not a great deal to do here but it's definitely worth an hour or so of your time.

汶萊水鄉歷史悠久，必去！我們見到有學生坐小艇上學，水鄉上有學校，非常特別，汶萊能夠保持原本的風貌，讚！

E' un villaggio costruito su palafitte con un servizio giornaliero h24 di lance che per pochi denari trasportano i poasseggeri dalla terraferma. Vi sono vari attracchi ed il viaggio dura solo pochi minuti. Merita una visita con calma.

To visit the Village, you have to first visit Mangrove Paradise Resort and arranged a boat service 'water-taxi' to the destination. The village itself is also a homestay experience for guets.
I brought over 40 overseas guests to visit the Village, i thought everyone had a good time trying out many local delicacies like Ambuyat, Prawn Cracker and etc.
Everyone enjoyed the short boat ride to the Village. Though the pricing was bit costly to spend the few hours there as the lunch choices were not a lot too.
We even included a short trip to fish farm just near the village, which was charged separately.
Overall it was a great experience.

The Water Village itself can accommodate any number of people for walking around (not sure if you can stay overnight). However, if you are a large group you may need more than one water taxi to take you over and back again - $1 dollar per person oneway.
