I have to admit that the tour of the killing field and the prison was at times overwhelmingly distressing to experience. I had to walk away from our fantastic guide a few times because I could not bear to hear or see one more example of man's inhumanity to man. The atrocities that occurred during the 3 years that Pol Pot was in power were unfathomable. but I felt it was so important to be better informed about how and why it happened. Thankfully, the second half of the day was lovely, with a wonderful lunch at an NGO training restaurant; a fun and interesting visit with a local family of silk weavers; and a peaceful boat ride at sunset on the Mekong River. We packed a lot into this day and I'm very glad that we booked this tour.

A visiter absolument avec l audioguide qui est très bien fait.Cela nous permet de réaliser la cruauté qu ont vécu des cambodgiens innocents dont pour certains la seule erreur était de porter des lunettes.Moins dune dizaine de personnes de cet endroit ont survécu. Le but était de faire signer des aveux.On torturait les victimes et on les reanimait tant qu' elles n avaient pas signé. Visite éprouvante mais tres intéressante.

Was trying to find an appropriate title for the review but I couldn't find the words as it is very difficult to describe and appreciate a wonderful tour guided service around one of the worst event in our recent human history.
However, I am more than happy to share how glad I am for having booked the tour with Urban Adventure.
Neang, our guide today was absolutely awesome, since the moment he cheered our group at the meeting point and all the way through, guiding us through the history and culture of this beautiful country and explaining in details what we were witnessing at the killing fields and the museum.

Given the tragic & horrible story of this time in Cambodia's history it seems strange to be using the words that this was an enjoyable & interesting tour. Our guide Neang was excellent and explained the history with humility, honesty & respect for the victims, including how it impacted on his own family. This is well worth a visit, if nothing else to learn of the history & pau your own respect to the victims

It is true. As other people have reviewed, Neang was a lovely guide for the day. He was informative and interactive. The tour was laid out well for time and breaks. I would recommend this to family and friends.

A very important tour for anyone visiting Phnom Penh. Our guide Neang was very informative, making the whole experience real to us. He gave us a lot of information before we arrived then described everything we saw sensitively but in detail. This piece of recent history is not an easy trip to do but it’s definitely well worth doing.

I can see no reason to take a tour there as tuk Tuks are every where and you will be on your own. Haggle! Drop the starting price 1/3 at least.

Our guide Neang was extremely knowledgeable and took time to share information in an accessible and personable manner. Whilst the experience is very harrowing it was well worth the visit to understand more about the recent history of Cambodia and the effect on its people. Thanks Neang for your warmth and friendliness and looking after us so well.

A moving tour such sad history but the story was excellently delivered you our guide Mr. Vicheka Yoeun. His knowledge and excellent English made for an excellent

Our tour guide Neang was excellent. He was a history lesson from beginning to end. He spoke intelligible English and answered all our questions. My husband and I would recommend him highly. He was kind, intelligent, knowledgeable, compassionate and when appropriate, funny!
Our driver was safe and made our transportation comfortable. Air conditioning was wonderful in van. We had a small group of 6, for a total of 8 with Neang and our driver.
