They are just cheaters! They took 3 weeks in fix my moto for a job that must take 3 days. They charge 70% more than any other mechanic in the area and plus, they made a terrible job, to the point that i had to fix my motorbike in front of them for they accept that they didn't do the job properly. (They was claiming that the issues in the of my motorbike was "Something normal") By the way they will peruse you to change of fix items that they are in a perfect condition such a dust seals of the forks, brakes, air filters, etc, for get extra money. While they do not fix or detect real issues. I have experience from my 16 years old fixing motorbikes and i find my that after change the front brake, the brake circuit has air in the system (spongy brake), they say that was normal, of course not, so i arrived home and i had to purge the system by myself, now works great. Lazy, irresponsible, layers and cheaters. Be aware!

SCAM SCAM SCAM! Never bring your motorbike here, they are overpriced (Example change a clutch $55 in Dara, in the other mechanic 70 meters from them $25, $35 if you want the OEM), inexperienced mechanics (a team of 15 year old boys with no clue about their job), terrible customer service and yes, i confirm the previous reviews they hate foreigners. They are just about the money.. By the way they try to steal spare parts from my motorbike 2 times (the calipers bolt covers and the shining bolts that keep in position the seat of my motorbike)

Impatient tour guide, want to over charge for any slip-up on his tour, seems like he doesn't really like foreigners, just wants their money.
Mechanical work very, very shoddy and way over-priced.

Did a group tour with four of us plus Dara and crew. It was a very well organized tour with bikes that were maintained to a point that they didn't miss a beat. Explored some of the most beautiful parts of Cambodia and visited some of the best riding terrain that the country had to offer. Prised very affordable stayed at grate hotels and the beer was always cold. Highly recommend Dara Motorcycles

Dara Motorcycles is a professional bike shop that know what they are doing, offers great service and is fairly priced.
I'm an expat living in Phnom Penh, I ride off-road and I can highly recommend Dara. He understands how to maintain & service modern high-reving and sophisticated dirt bikes like YZ & CR etc. but he can also fix your not so sophisticated XR or little scooter.
His shop is open long hours and he carries a large range of OEM and other spares so you can get things fixed when you need to.
He also has a good fleet of dirt bikes & gear that you can hire.
He still races and therefore knows what's happening in the dirt scene, so he can hook you up for rides at the motocross track, enduro course or trail rides.
BTW - Dara speaks English perfectly so there are no communication problems

all the service are for foreingners who comes for short time. If you live in Phnom Penh, never choose them. There are plenty of better shops for rent.

I participated in an off-road motorcycle tour in October 2013. Dara motorcycle co. supplied the bikes, support crew, mechanics that rode bikes and in the support crew. Couldn't have asked for more from them.
The shop is located on the Riverside "tourist" area. 30 seconds from the river. This is across town from the airport. Maybe $10 ride in a tuk tuk from the airport.
Guided us though 6 days of mud and fun. They knew every available track in the country Any breakdowns on the road; they had the bikes running within 2 minutes. The bikes are Cambodian, meaning they are not new. But you gotta expect that in Cambodia. In saying this I was very impressed with the bikes. Honda xr250s; Unbreakable.
We finished the trip in Siem Reap, not wanting to lug my motorcycle gear around for the 2nd half of my holiday (which wasn't on a motorbike); I organized put my gear in the support truck with the understanding that they'd be taken back to Phnom Penh and kept there for me. Silly me didn't have my name on the bag (silly, silly me!). One of the support crew thought they were the bags from the medic that came on the tour and shipped them out of town. When I arrived in Phnom Penh and called about the bags. Dara went well out of his way to have the bags shipped back to his shop for me overnight.
Couldn't recommend them high enough. Cambodia is an amazing country, Dara and his crew are great ambassadors for a warm, honest, hard working people.
