The Monument is an equestrian statue on a pedestal of Manas. Manas is the hero of an Epic poem. He is a national hero for the Kyrgyz people. This statue stands in front of the Museum of National History on Ala-Too Square. It is an iconic statue in the heart of the Kyrgyz Capital.

Es un punto de referencia obligado en Bishkek, y merece la pena visitarla en el obligado paseo por la ciudad (a nosotros nos gustó mucho). La estatua no tiene nada en especial, más allá del simbolismo del héroe nacional de los kirguizos, pero el entorno es el corazón de la capital y se puede asistir al cambio de guardia frente a ella.

Идя от дворца Президента, прошел мимо этого величественного памятника. Рядом был флагшток с почётным караулом в виде двух солдат с карабинами в парадных шинелях. Повезло посмотреть смену караула.

W najważniejszym miejscu stolicy , na Placu Ala-Too stoi pomnik narodowego bohatera Manasa. Jeszcze do 2003 roku w tym samym miejscu stał pomnik Lenina . Manas jest głównym bohaterem narodowej sagi , która została wpisana na listę dziedzictwa kultury UNESCO .Pomnik imponuje nie tylko rozmiarami ale ekspresyjnym przedstawieniem bohatera na koniu . Mieszkańcy stolicy uważają ten pomnik za główną atrakcje miasta . To również ulubione miejsce spotkań młodzieży .

It's a large, quite impressive monument right at the heart of the city. Cannot miss it, nice for photos. Right in front of the history museum, close to many other attractions, restaurants and shopping centers.
