“Kyrgyz mosque with cyan-blue dome”

Kyrgyz mosque with cyan-blue dome

From a distance this mosque looks charming especially because of the cyan-blue dome. Visitors are requested to wash their hands and feet at a nearby washing room. There is hot water. The interior of the mosque is simple. This is primarily a place to pray. One side of the facade is of glass, which means it is light inside. People are friendly.

The location of the mosque is at the far eastern end of Akhunbaeva street near the entrance to the Botanical gardens. Just under 7 km from the center of Bishkek.
