Pretty sure it is maybe nice in the morning like it’s name called but it’s not open at noon concerning there were 5 stands left. was lil bit weird there🤭

Мы шли в сторону аэропорта, когда вышли к рынку. Оказалось очень кстати. Купили с собой в дорогу манго, которое благополучно прибыло в Москву и было роздано в качестве подарков. Из-за того, что фрукты были абсолютно свежие, они перенесли не простой перелёт с двумя пересадками. Рынок большой с хорошим выбором свежих продуктов,особенно фруктов и овощей.

朝市とは云いながら日中もオープンしていました。流石に土産物類は見当たらず、興味本位で訪れる観光客以外は地元の方ばかりでした。

Hi There,
It is quite a highlight to go to the Morning Markets and see the extensive variety of foods of choice..Wet, Dry,and many other choices. I was amazed at the fish,poultry,meats and EXOTIC! things that we would never get to see in Australia. The vegitables are so nicely presented and they will have samples for you to taste, delicious Mangoes...amazingly, local grown farmers...
I love Vientiane and it's cleanliness....Make this part of ur holiday experience..

Don't come here expecting picturesque because you won't get it! There's a huge sprawling range of useful items along with large utilitarian items such as domestic whiteware. There is also a lot of cheap souvenir type tat, cheap scarves, badly cast Buddha statues and the like, all cheek by jowl. I did go in there a couple of times because I was looking for silver hill tribe type bangles but what I saw was over priced and underweight - some bangles had plaster filler to help thin silver keep it's shape and to increase weight. You'd be better to go next door to Talat Sao, where there is a huge number of accredited jewellers and dealers on the second floor selling authentic and new pieces at more honest prices.

This has to be one of the worst markets in SE Asia. The move inside a multistory mall makes it hot and airless. The grubbiness & piles of cheap clothing that can be intriguing in an outdoor market just look tired and tawdry here. Walked round both floors (only 2 populated - the others in the building are dark and empty. 10 minutes was more than enough. Worse than Wythenshawe on a rainy Saturday.

Khua Din Market is an open air market across Nongbone road. It is where you will find: snails the size of golf balls, raw pig heads, fresh vegetable and fruits, the smell of raw sewage, live frogs tied together by their waists, live Tilapia fish, and very little touristy stuff.

Much of the Lao dress fabrics are Indian and have a lot of polyester in the material.
