Cowboy Park as listed here next to the Vientiane Garden Hotel is permanently closed. They had problems with the landlord and licences. They opened a new location that's very popular. It's called Night Street and is located on the Mekong river bank. It was very crowded with young locals on Saturday night, a free concert and many stalls selling beers and finger foods. If you're looking for cowboy park, go there. Address is: Chao Anouvong, Mekong Shore Boardwalk, Vientiane, you can find it on Google maps.

Kinda stumbled on this place by accident as very glad we did. Rather cool vibe with relaxed drinking and eating.
When we were there they had a couple singing and on guitar, by all accounts they were great, singing in Lao.
Beers were regular price and there are lots of food options. Think we'll head back there tonight.
