Mongolia is full of wonderful surprises most travelers don't expect. Incredible views and more attractions than you can imagine. Extremely friendly people. Very good hotels and Ger Camps. Wonderful food.
However, you definitely need a top professional company to handle all the logistics in Mongolia and that provides an excellent tour guide. Travel All Mongolia does all of that and more. We spent 10 days taking a quick look at what Mongolia has to offer and we wished we had planned on spending a whole month to be able to experience the rest of the country.
If you wish to visit Mongolia, do not hesitate to contact Travel All Mongolia. They will provide top service at very competitive prices. You do have to be a little patient as, sometimes, they take longer than expected to reply.

We had an amazing time with our family, everything was perfectly planned by them from the second we were picked up at the airport. All camps we stayed at were comfortable and the food was tasty. We saw everything we wanted to see, would definitely recommend them to anyone visiting Mongolia.

I'm a 30 year travel industry veteran and recently experience a wonderful trip hosted by Travel All Mongolia. Our guide Sarah was AWESOME. She made us all feel like locals. Our driver Ghana was very professional but if you play some Elton John he will be dancing!
The country and especially the nomadic families and their culture is/are so welcoming and all they wanted to do was share the very little they had to make us feel at home in their ger's. The rest of the world could really take a lesson from them.
We covered a LOT of territory in my 10 days but the experiences were all unique from the singing sand dunes to the staggering cliffs to deep valleys to the petroglyphs to the flaming cliffs. It was all unlike anything I'd experience in my 50+ countries and 30+ years in the industry and all because of Travel All Mongolia.
I highly recommend then.
PS Soylo was the bomb!
Thanks for it all

Went on the 15-day tour with a friend which included the capital Ulaanbaatar, the Gobi Desert (south Mongolia), and the Golden Eagle Festival (Oct 1-2, western Mongolia). Accomodations throughout included hotel, a decorated ger, and a resort, all of which were comfortable with heating--extremely important as it was chilly at night and even snowed during our time there. Our tour guide and drivers were very attentive to our requests, knowledgeable about the different regions and customs, and the restaurants they picked were attractive and modern. Some highlights included a scenic hike at Yol Valley, seeing dinosaur bones at the Flaming Cliffs (Bayanzag), and attending local folk shows showcasing the traditional instruments, dancing, dress, and throat singing. My favorite part was visiting local families and being able to witness the nomadic lifestyle and ask questions. During the Golden Eagle Festival the participants showed great skills with horse riding while calling their eagles; it was very awe-inspiring--you'll have to go to see for yourself what it is like!
Tips for travelers: 1. bring appropriate clothing for the season's weather, 2. pack some small gifts for families that you will visit, 3. speak to your doctor regarding any travel medications needed in advance, 4. purchase a sim card when you arrive for areas without wifi, and lastly, 5. keep an open mind as the amenities you are used to at home may not be readily available especially in rural areas. Hope you all will be able to experience beautiful Mongolia soon!

Mongolia is one of those wonders of the world that leave you speechless every single day. I highly recommend booking with Travel All Mongolia— their attention to detail is unparalleled and we could not have asked for a better experience. Our guide, Unuruu, was with us every step of the way and is such a joy to be around. She is incredibly knowledgeable and will make sure you get the most out of your time there. It’s not an easy trip (lots of physical activity) so if you’re looking for leisure and free time to unwind, this probably isn’t the trip for you, but if you’re looking for some of the most beautiful landscapes, the most generous people, and lots of time with animals, I cannot recommend this enough.
PROS
- A detail oriented team that will cater to western “creature comforts” while still ensuring you get an authentic experience.
- Itineraries that are customized to your group’s wants and needs.
- A wide array of activities to take in all the country has to offer. We experienced fine dining and local cuisine (lamb baked in a pit), desert camel rides and snow capped mountain horseback rides, 5 star hotels and ger camps.
- The kindest, most generous people I’ve ever met. So ready to welcome you into their homes and traditions.
CONS
- Not a cuisine oriented trip. There is variety, but when you’re in the Gobi or in the western provinces, there will mostly be lamb and noodles. Sensitive stomachs should come prepared.
- Not a con, but the language barriers are extreme. Some people in our group spoke Spanish, the rest of us would translate to English, our guide would translate to Mongolian, and our drivers would translate to Kazakh so that our hosts could understand. It’s a beautiful appreciation of the wide array of languages, but if you’re not a patient person this might be grating.
That being said, those things are common of international travel anywhere you go, so if that turns you off, you’re probably better off staying stateside. Mongolia is the place for adventure and joy that is a once in a lifetime opportunity.

Fantastic country to visit. I have traveled a lot, and its unlike anywhere I have been. The people are terrific, and the terrain is spectacular. We were on the 18-day Ultimate Mongolia tour, less the arrival and departure day, that is 16 days touring. Two solid weeks are needed to see the country and going to the Altai mountains should be on your plans. There are big regional differences, so it is worth traveling around the country.
Travel All Mongolia was great (and their affiliate Mongolian Luxury Tours). Soyoloo, the owner, is Mongolian. He returned to Mongolia after Stanford University and set up the company and employs all local staff. They did a great job and I strongly recommend.
Our guide stayed with us the entire time and we had different drivers in the different regions. She was great is accommodating our interests (more hiking, less museums, more picnic lunches). She grew up in the Northwest region and with 17 years’ experience as a guide was a big factor in creating a fantastic experience.
Things I learned:
• Ger camps have variety. Staying in the Gers is cool. Many camps also have cabins. The incremental cost for a private bath is nominal for private bath, and far better than walking though the cold weather to a shared facility. The shared facilities in the ger camps ranged in quality; importantly they were consistently sized too small if the camps were busy.
• One of the best aspects was stopping by and visiting local families in their gers; including our driver’s brother in the Gobi. The people are very welcoming, always inviting us in for kumis and a bite. There were two of us, plus guide and driver. At one, we helped get water from the well. Another, our guide helped round up a wayward horse. This level of personal interaction would be difficult with a group tour.
• There are some conflict issues with group tours. Distances are vast. For example, it is a 2-hour drive from camp to Flaming Cliffs. The lodge packed a lunch for us, and we spent the day hiking around the cliffs. Lots of folks on tours want to get back to the camp for a sit-down lunch. That creates a choice: 2-hour drive + 1 hour walking around site + 2-hour drive back to camp for lunch + afternoon at camp, or 2-hour drive + 4-hour hiking and picnic lunch + 2-hour drive back to camp. You can imagine the conflicts. It’s not like being on an Amalfi coast group tour where you can wander off and meet up with the group later. Seriously consider a private tour.
• The Western and local tour companies use the same gers, drivers and guides. Some of the gers has logos from 20+ tour companies in their dining rooms. Our driver had worked for ~ 15 tour companies (he was great). Our guide has working solely with Travel All Mongolia since 2015 (and she was great).
• Food met expectations. The food was always fresh and local. Some ger camps were better than others, but all were acceptable. The meat is local (of course), as are potatoes, carrots, turnip, onions, eggs, lettuce, tomatoes, peppers.
We were lucky in a way since I didn’t know to research some of these things. I would recommend more research on accommodations and go with a private tour.

Agenzia e viaggio assolutamente consigliati

Travel All Mongolia prepared a wonderful 15 day tour of these 3 regions of Mongolia.
They were just 2 in our group, a retired teacher from Australia, and myself. We had an excellent guide, Bulgaa, who really knows and loves her country. She is a university professor in Ulaan Bataar during the year and guides in the summer. The highlight of the trip was visiting an eagle hunting family in the west, and spending most of a day with them, including lunch in their ger.
