Whenever I visit UB, I always come to buy at this shop.
The shop is a bit smaller than before Corona. I see that the number of products has also decreased. I would be grateful if you could add more products again.

Nice selection of ethically made fair trade products. Great items for gifts or for yourself. Socks, bags, slippers, jewelry, and cards.

Decent products, limited range, but extremely unfriendly person managing the shop. It was rude and disappointing - it was like she was a doing a big favor to us. When asked about fair trade practices followed by them, she initially pointed to a notice board and then told us that we needed to ask the owners and not an employee. Sad to find people like her in the front-end of an apparently good cause.

Absolutely loved this gift shop from the second we stepped inside. It has an incredible selection of beautiful items made by Mongolian artists, all neatly and carefully displayed. Superb customer service too, which I really appreciated. Highly recommend a visit to this store for anyone in UB.

Mary and Martha is a wonderful shop that features the work of Mongolian artists. Great variety of fair trade goods run by friendly staff who speak English. I visited this store in 2017 and knew I had to go back there when I returned in 2019! Definitely make sure you stop by when you are in Ulaanbaatar!

A wonderful shop in UB! It’s a perfect place to get pretty much all your souvenirs, they have a broad selection and fair prices. I’d highly recommend stopping in here while in UB.

The shop is just 200 meters off Peace Avenue near the State department store. You can find lots of embroided items such as pouches, bags and pillow covers, as well as felt products and ankle bones. Staff is kind and speaks English.

Yes we do primarily Visa and AmEx but others work on trying.
It is safer for us, not having to bank cash and cards can be managed by customers more securely and safeguard against pick pockets.

Hi. We are about a 10 minute walk. Out of the hotel, west to the Chinggis square. Cross the square and go on to Peace Avenue west. Walk to the next cross roads, over still going west and take the first small road on the right.
The hotel staff do know us so could also get you to the shop. Call my shop manager 94972136 and she may be able to send a staff to find you. Sorry for the delay as I am waking up in Amsterdam just now. Bill M. Owner.
