我和我的家人去过很多不同的国家，住过从3星到5星不等的酒店。我们预订了两间相互连通的海景房(346间和347间)，并在这家美丽、历史悠久的酒店度过了美妙的12天。从门卫到清洁工的服务都很棒。工作人员竭尽全力确保我们在这里过得愉快。自助早餐非常丰盛，员工们非常棒。我们入住期间没有自助晚餐，但享受了1天的自助午餐。从我们房间看出去的景色真是太美了!早上在阳台上喝咖啡，看着海浪在你下面翻滚，这种体验真实太棒了。我们的两个小女儿喜欢游泳池和酒店提供的“免费历史之旅”。我很乐意向任何人推荐这家旅馆。员工们都很友好，工作努力，效率很高。向门蒂斯、蒂蒂、库马里表示谢意。

海滩上到处是海洋垃圾，如果你住在芒特拉维尼亚酒店附近200米以内，那还不错，因为他们打扫得很干净，其他地方令人作呕。

拉维尼亚山海滩让我感到非常惊讶。我没想到这里如此迷人且适合游泳，我也很惊讶当我们到达的时候，这里人居然不多。我们喜欢看渔民们拉起他们巨大的渔网(这么大的努力这么小的捕获)，总的来说，这里的海滩很干净，附近还有很多小酒吧和餐馆，这里日落的景色真的很可爱。我觉得这里相对来说更安静且又靠近海滩，同时交通也很方便。我一定会再来的。

很遗憾Dehiwala海滩到处都是垃圾，在海滩上来回走真是太恶心了。Mount Lavinia海滩干净的多，而且有一些适合坐下来的地方，不过我不想特意去那边。最棒的部分就是和Ben一起在沙滩上做Crossfit健身训练，很棒的地点和运动！

虽然酒店的位置很好，但是房间和大堂的主要区域都很破旧，而且服务很差。自助晚餐和早餐都不太好吃。只推荐抵达后的第一个晚上（住一住）。

美味的食物和一流的服务，令人难以置信的海滩!!在斯里兰卡的两周经历真是太棒了。不说我有特权在拉维尼亚山酒店吃素食自助餐。我很兴奋地说，那迷人的食物选择使你沉迷。此外，无可取代的服务是一流的，食物的真实性远比我看到的好。很高兴看到MLH在食物和服务方面继续做得更好。坚持下去!

No need to stay in the hotel to access the beach. It is open to public.

Bardzo ładna plaża z licznymi knajpami z lokalnym jedzeniem i owocami morza. Przepiękny widok na Kolombo z tarasu hotelu Mout Lavinia dawnej willi gubernatora Cejlonu. Na plaży można wynająć łodź i popłynąć do zatopionego wraku, którego część widoczna jest nad wodą można zabrać maski do nukowania i podziwiać fragmenty rafy koralowej. Na brzegu czuwają ratownicy. W okolicy liczne hotele i pensjonaty. Głowna ulica miasta Galle Road gdzie znajdują się sklepy, banki i urzędy zaledwie kilkanaście minut od plaży.Po drugiej stonie hotelu prześliczna plaża mało uczęszczana przez turystów. Znajduje się tam restauracja Buba zanurzona w gęstwinie palm. Posiada niezwykły klimat i bardzo dobrą kuchnię.

We will be staying at Mount Lavinia at the beginning of February and are hoping to visit Pinnawela Elephant orphanage. Could anyone advise how to organise and cost for two adults. Many thanks

It's about 100KM to pinnawala.. you able to rent a vehicle for LKR 40 for 1km. Also you able to visit kandy on same day.. which is a heritage city in Sri Lanka..

By taxi is really the only way & it won't be too expensive agree price first if it's not a metered cab & don't let the driver offer any detours it should only take 30/40 mins, staff at mount Lavinia hotel will organise taxi back to ship, don't forget your swimsuits!!

Train is enjoyable. But it is rare. The bus is available any time to mount Lavinia to Colombo fort. After that You can get a other bus Colombo Fort to Katunayake airport.
