Very expensive, 4000 lire for family and very crowded. Feels like an scam as always as tourist in Istanbul.

Save your money. Dont go. Disappointing is a nice way to describe it.
Very small with a terrible sound and light show that does not complement the history. Go to theBacillica Sistern instead.

Much, much smaller than the more famous Basillica Cistern, but still an amazing structure.
A laser show is projected onto the columns and walls every few minutes, and it lasts about 10/15 minutes. The laser show does not detract from the historical structure and without it, there wouldn't be a reason to spend more than a few minutes here.
The cistern was en-route from the main attractions to our hotel so it was easy for us to visit. I'm not sure I would recommend going out of your way to pay this place a visit - it's small, only takes a short time to visit and it's expensive.

Istanbul is an unforgettable city. Everything is soaked in history, like touching something mysterious, beauty everywhere. Lucky to have a guide, Muhammad, the simplicity and refinement of the story is fascinating. He's become our friend.

With ⁇ 1,600 years of history, it’s one of the oldest water structures in Istanbul’s Historic Peninsula.2. It’s thought to have been built during the period of Theodosius (408–450).The ceiling height is 11 meters and the Sherefiye Sarniger has 45 sailing vaults and 32 columns. The World’s oldest structure with a 360-degree projection mapping system. The show is amazing.

It’s a nice cistern with some history. But you can’t see it because there’s a laser show and it’s always dark so basically you’re paying to go into a cool cave with a mediocre laser show. So I was pretty disappointed.

I decided to visit on a very crowded day, so I wanted to see this cistern because it was not very busy. It is small but quite beautiful and has very informative historical details. The light shows and it was very beautiful.

A small but pretty charming ham between Sultanahmet and Çemberlitaş. I think the entrance rate is a bit high. That’s all you could say when you first entered, but it’s as impressive as you don’t want to exit. Inside, there are great light shows on a variety of themes. You really want to stay there for a while when these performances come with good music. There''s also a cafe upstairs where you can breathe. If you’re curious about historic buildings, you’ve got to see them.

A huge Byzantine cistern, built by Justinian in 532.
Located near Hagia Sophia was used as a water reservoir until the late 14th century, abandoned by the Ottomans after the construction of running water systems. To sustain the entire immense structure were used 336 Roman columns, which form 12 lines with 28 columns at symmetrical intervals.
A video mapping project is made along the tank, with different sounds and songs, to show the history of the city.

Serefiye is free. Apparently it’s similar in size, but totally renovated, when compared to the Bascillica! And no line ups
