My aunt and I went on a walking tour which was within walking distance from the Oba Hotel. We saw Saint Sophia, Hippodrome, Blue Mosque, Topakapi Palace and an underground cistern. A very interesting tour that you need a full day to see everything as it is steeped in a very rich history.
The next day we went on another amazing tour to the Grand Bazaar which is amazing in itself. We then visited the Suleymaniye Mosque, spice market and then a beautiful boat ride on the Bosphoros. Very memorably and a wonderful way to see a different perspective.
On our last morning before flying to Israel we visited the Dolmabahce Palace which left a huge impression of opulence and we were so glad to visit this place on our own.
Go Turkey Tours were just amazing and we got to see so many things in such a small amount of time.
We loved Istanbul and our guide was just amazing allowing us time to drink in all the fascinating history and not rushing us. Our guide was just so knowledgeable and had such a passion.
Thank you so much for the two and a half days of tours which were expertly organised.

We visited Turkey in May 2015, and wanted to explore the country with a tour group due to its vast size. I initially contacted a number of companies before deciding to use Go Turkey Tours. My partner & I had a fantastic trip owing to this company who were able to deliver a personalised itinerary that allowed us to see everything we hoped to in 8 days, a relatively short amount of time. The tours were fantastically organised, taking all the hard work away for us. We met with Ismail when we first arrived into Istanbul at our hotel; he was very friendly and explained all parts of the trip to us again. Each day we had accommodation sorted, and were given a time in the morning to rejoin the tour bus. We went around within different groups that were always quite small which allowed us to really learn a lot at each site through the tour guide. We loved exploring part of the country and left with fantastic memories. I would highly recommend this company to anyone planning a trip.

I am the owner of a travel agency named Corporate Cruzin' from the states , and I accompanied a group of 12 to Istanbul and the Greek islands . I had the pleasure of using this company , who provided a top notch experience from the initial booking to the tour itself . They are very professional , and our tour guide Elif was excellent. She knew the history of each site visited and was quite fluent in English. In addition, she was very personable and well organized. We were able to capture the essence of Istanbul. She also took us to have an Authentic Turkish lunch which was also excellent . We did a custom tour which included all of the main attractions . I wouldn't hesitate recommending them and will certainly use them for all of my clients looking for private tours .

GoToursTurkey organised the balloon ride ( which was fantastic) and a tour of the "fairy castles" along with informative tour guides. The history of the area is so fascinating. Go Tours also organised a friendly cave hotel called "S.O.S". a fine family hotel . The accommodation and breakfast was great. Everything ran smoothly.
The team at Go Turkey Tours were always most helpful and I was really well looked after; and thank them for what was a wonderful trip .

I booked a day trip to Ephesus through GoTurkeyTours. I found them after numerous searches for an Ephesus tour online. After inquiring through different tour operators, they offered the cheapest price for a solo traveller, so i thought of giving them a shot. Honestly, most operators charge outrageous fees for a solo traveler. The price quoted by GoTurkeyTours was reasonable. And every time i had an inquiry, they replied promptly.
Though I was told to pay for the tour itself in person, i had to pay for the plane ticket in advance by sending money online to Mr. Caliskan's Paypal account. I was a bit wary at first, but I can assure everyone that there is nothing to worry about. I received a copy of the plane ticket and tour vouchers almost immediately.
i met with Mr. Caliskan when i arrived in Istanbul to give my payment, and he and his wife were incredibly warm and friendly. Their office is located in Oba hotel, which looked beautiful and homey, i kinda wished i stayed there instead. When i made some inquiries regarding attractions in the Sultanahmet area, he gladly mentioned all the places of note and how to get to them. I was awestruck because instead of offering--- or worse, forcing the Sultanahmet tour on me (another tour that was clearly shown on their website), he gladly showed me how to tour the area on my own, if that was the way i preferred to discover what Istanbul had to offer. He even told a bit of history of every attraction that he mentioned. This showed that it's not all business to them, they also have that genuine personal touch that is rarely seen in the touring industry.
As for the tour itself, every thing was arranged perfectly. Airport transfer went right on schedule. Someone was waiting for me when i arrived in Izmir, and their contacts made sure that the entire tour went smoothly. The flight back to Istanbul got delayed for almost two hours. Of course this wasn't the tour operator's fault. When i contacted Mr. Caliskan about it, it turns out they were already on top of the situation and i had nothing to worry about. True enough, my airport transfer was still there waiting when i arrived to take me back to my hotel. I was happy with the way they anticipated and handled the situation. In my experience, a lot of tour operators cannot handle such hiccups well.
Overall I am extremely happy with my experience with them and would gladly recommend them to anyone. Once I find myself in Turkey again i would definitely contact them first for any tour i desire.

Took a trip to Istanbul in December. Stayed in Oba hotel throughout. Very nice cosy hotel. Mr. &Mrs Caliskan are nice, friendly and helpful. Location of hotel was perfect. Within walking distance of the Blue Mosque and Sultanahmet district. Also took a day trip to Ephesus. Tour guide was good and knowledgable. Weather wasn't perfect but she modified the itinerary and we managed to see all the important sites. We really enjoyed our trip.

We went to Princes Island with an exclusive luxury cruise with this company. Everything was planned well and as promised. Another day, we went on day tour to Mashukiye and Kartepe. It was also arranged as very comfortable enjoyable trip.

This was our first time visit to Turkey, and I accompanied my wife who attended a European medical conference in Istanbul. We were recommended through a friend who used the company 5 months earlier, and are glad to do so. We stayed at Hilton Hotel during the conference, then moved to Oba Hotel which is located in Old Town of the city. The hotel was clean and the food was better than what the advertised photo showed. We went on to visit Ephesus(one day) and Cappadocia(2 days) at the end. Mr. Ismail arranged the tour, including the 1-day Istanbul city tour. I wish we had more time to spend, and places to visit. It was one of the best experience we had, and we will be making another trip in the near future with children.
I noticed one reviewer gave a poor remark for the Cappadocia hotel restaurant not running late at nights. I think that is the life style of an old town in Turkey, certainly not Mr. Ismail's fault.

I found GoTurkey tours online and found a whole package, hotel + tour. Ismail organized my 7 day tour very well. Everything was well coordinated including airport transfers, tour guides etc. Frankly, I prefer planning my own itinerary cos I don't like to have to set out at 7 and be dropped off at 5pm, but it worked out well. I could've done Istanbul on my own using a 2-3 day train pass but the rest of Turkey is better with a tour guide unless you're driving around by yourself.

WE has a very nice time on our trip. Everything was well coordinated. Although we had a slight problem, instead of the 9 hour trip from Istanbul to Ephesus it became a 14 hour trip due to the Ramadan Holiday but Mr. Ismael Caliskan was very very helpful. Most of the Passengers in the bus does not speak English so he was coordinating with the bus Drivers. When we asked for our trip back to be changed to via air he was able to produce the reservation and ticket right away.
Our Hotel and its location at Kusadasi was very nice and the tour guides were very accommodating trough out tour in Ephesus and Pamukale.
The guides on our Bousphorous tour was also very nice and accommodating.
Overall the experience was very nice and I would be willing to recommend it to my friends
