Kadir Kurt was a very knowledgeable tour guide that gave us great information about the sites we were seeing. Also knew some great local places to get some amazing food that was also priced well.

I can fully recommend the private tour we had an Istanbul as a family. The communication with the agency was very friendly and efficient. Our tour was adapted so that also our teenager could enjoy it. We had a wonderful day and experience walking around Istanbul guided by a local.

Our stay in Istambul was fantastic and our solendid guide Kadir Kurt was too. Kadir is very personable and knowledgeable. Very professional and happy to listen to the mood of the group in order to decide how to pace the visits. For instances in the Topkapi Palace he very clearly explained beforehand what we were going to visit and asked us our interests in the various parts of the palace in order to decide how much time to spend. Kadir is very good at explaining everything at different levels. He kept my two teenage sons very entertained and interested throughout the 2 days. They absolutely loved Istambul and the tour.
I can recommend Kadir as an amazing guide. Thank you Kadir for making your city a bit special for us. We loved it and we will be back.

My partner and I spent an inspiring and educational two days with our guide Bedrettin, who curated a terrific set of experiences throughout Istanbul. The pace was perfect, and he adjusted his approach to our priorities and energy level. His historical knowledge is deep and broad, which was just what we wanted.

Wondeful tour guided by Hulya, who was extremely kind and patient with us!
She gave us a lot of interesting informations about the Blue Mosque and the Hagia Sophia, as well as took beautiful photographs for us at the Basilica Cystern. At the Grand Bazaar, she helped us to buy only in the best places. Perfect tour!

My husband and I did a private tour of several of the old city landmarks, including the Topkapi museum and the Grand Bazaar. Our guide, Sibel, was wonderful. She gave us incredible details about the history of the city and the architecture. She led us through the Grand Bazaar, which can be intimidating because of its size, and we certainly did more exploring than we would have on our own. Lunch at a local restaurant was delicious and on the way back to the hotel, we were able to take a detour to get a better view of the old city walls, my husband’s request. I highly recommend Istanbul Guided Tours!

Our guide Bedrettin was extremely knowledgable and truly informed us about all the history of Istanbul. We found him very engaging and answered all our questions. Having a private guide was great as we were able to choose how long we spent at each location. I would definitely recommend the trip and our lovely guide Bedrettin

Hi, we are 4 adults arriving on 6/6/20. We have a few hours in the evening. We have been to Istanbul before and while the rest of the tour group are doing the Bosphorus cruise which we have done, we would like to see something else. We would enjoy seeing the city landmarks lit up and have dinner maybe in the Balat Old Town. Could you please give some suggestions and prices please.

We had a personal guide from Istanbul Guided Tours, so our experience might be different as far as group size goes. That said, never for a moment in the two weeks I was in Istanbul did I feel unsafe. That was my favorite part of being there - the people are wonderful!

Sounds quite tight. It takes about 45 minutes to get to the historical part (traffic there is very congested) from the airport, and it may not be much quicker being dropped off outside and taking the metro in. The tour of Hagia Sophia + blue mosque + Topkapı palace would probably take at least 3.5 hours and even then it would be quite rushed and for the price you’d pay I’m not sure it’s worth booking a tour. If you have a few spare hours after taking into account transport in and out of the city, and you really want to see the old Constantinople side of Istanbul, probably more prudent to just get into Sultanahmet square and take in the old hippodrome relics before deciding whether to do Hagia Sophia or blue mosque first (they face each other on opposite sides of the square) and then seeing how it goes with time after that. If you just want a lovely panoramic view without actually going inside, an alternative is to stop at Galata tower and just take in the view from there, which is spectacular.

Thank very much for your kind question and you interest to our country. For a classical tour in Turkey we do normally recommend 9-10 days to spend in Istanbul. If you could send our company a direct request we can suggest you a sample itinerary . In 10 days tour you can easily visit Istanu, Cappadocia, Ephesus, Pamukkale and even Troy as Mr John suggested.
