My family any I stopped into this incredible space with our tour guide who introduced us to Galit. we learned about the history of this family company and were immediately able to understand we were standing somewhere special. every item in the store is made from love and deep dedication. Galit was tremendously gracious to share her personal story with us and show us the techniques used for each item. I purchased a beautiful pair of earrings and cannot wait to come back.

Probably the only real Jewish craftsperson still working with her own hands in the old city, Galit, her craft and her family history is the real deal. This is pedigree filigree! We own a number of items made by her and her father before her, and we feel honoured to have ritual judaica imbued with this genuine tradition, love and expert skill. Thank you Galit.

The Cardo Charm is right in the heart of The Cardo and is definitely a must visit! We have been there on every one of our many trips to Jerusalem since finding it in 1997. Galit is a master silversmith and designer, and you can be assured that you will leave with a one of a kind, hand-crafted piece of Judaica or jewelry like no other. We have our own pieces from The Cardo Charm, and friends and family still enjoy the gifts we have purchased for them there. Galit goes above and beyond to please, and has a heart of gold (OK, maybe silver?). We love the Cardo Charm and Galit!

Wer Einzelstücke aus Silber vom Silberschmied persönlich kaufen möchte, sollte vor dem kleinen Laden und die abwärts führende Treppe nicht zurückschrecken. Im Laden gibt es eine mannigfaltige Auswahl an Schmuck, über die die Besitzerin und Silberschmiedin viel zu erzählen hat.
Der in Handarbeit sehr fein gefertigte Schmuck rechtfertigt die Schmuckpreise, die nicht unbedingt günstig aber angemessen sind.
Wer auf der Suche nach bezahlbaren, nicht beliebigen Unikaten aus Jerusalem ist, sollte The Cardo Charm besuchen.
Meine Frau war von dem Schmuck begeistert.

Gaby, the amazing person and artist who has this store, is so talented! I have several pieces made by her and/or her father. It's a longtime (generations!) family business of making unbelievable pieces of great meaning. Every shabbat for 19 years I have lit the shabbat candles her family made. And each time I think of their kindness and of Jerusalem. I have also given several mezuzahs that she made and customized as gifts. To me, no trip to Israel is complete without a visit to this store and place of deep roots and talent.

The Old City is filled with chochkees shops - this is not one of them. Run by Galit, who keeps her family’s artistic silversmith trade alive in this small shop filled with unique treasures in the Cardo within the Jewish Quarter of the Old City. Each piece is handmade and all silver. I’ve been coming here on trips to Israel for nearly 20 years and have purchased lovely one of a kind kiddish cups, earrings, rings. Really a can’t miss place - highly recommend.
