Absolutely disgusting dirty place. Frozen temperature when asked received a reply facility not working.
I paid 40 Jordan money for a crap 10 minute time massage and scrub total time. The rest time spent in the sauna.
Waste of 1 hour. Requested for a discount due to bad service the man rejected and demanded money. Strictly not recommended!

hammam sicuramente molto autentico, frequentato dai giordani.non fermarsi all’apparenza dei locali. Massaggi top. Prenotazione obbligatoria. Parlano inglese

A very authentic, relaxing hammam with decent value for money. It could be much cleaner, but I didn't mind too much. However, the massage was very disappointing, rough and done against the basic rules of drainage... and the treatments provided by charming young people but real amateurs who don't really care about the work, (and it really showed)... however... not sure I'll be back!

Je n'ai jamais vu un hammam aussi sale de toute ma vie. Dommage que je n'ai pas pu prendre de photos. L'eau du jaccuzi n'a pas du être changé depuis 6 mois. Des champignons sur les murs des douches. Les bacs d'eau noir tellement sale. Nous sommes resté 10 mn et nous avons décidé de quitter les lieux. L'odeur de la cigarette je ne vous en parle même pas. Vraiment dommage que ce hammam ne sois pas nettoyer. A vos risques et périls.

This hammam is located right at the second circle in Amman. There is a parking lot behind the building. I smelled something in the shower at the beginning stage (not a strong smell though). The steam was not working until I notified them twice. The Jacuzzi and sauna are good. The message was average. The best part was the last stage.
There was a Syrian guy there. He is the hero of the best part...

Dopo una settimana in giro per la meravigliosa Giordania ho scelto di rilassarmi nel bagno turco accanto al mio hotel.Mai scelta fu piu' errata. Posto squallido, mal curato, personale che ti lascia a meta' del trattamento e specialmente sporco. Questo mi e' stato confermato da un gruppo di Giordane che mi ha detto:mai piu'!!!!

Warning: do not expect it to be okay to bathe in the nude, even if they tell you it is okay. Apparently, it is not okay. That was an embarrassing miscommunication between my friend and the staff (and she is Jordanian, so there isn't a language barrier either).
The main issues I had with this place was the atmosphere, the cleanliness, and the safety hazards. Let me clarify, so hopefully these issues will be fixed by management in the future, and so you, as the reader, can make an informed decision about whether or not to spend your money at this establishment.
The sandals were greasy and I felt like I was sliding around with them on. The tiles were not clean. The ceiling over the bath was falling apart and the ceiling tiles were absolutely disgusting. I felt like no one ever bothered to clean the place.
The atmosphere was more creepy than relaxing. Because of the lack of cleanliness, and the old, dark design of the place, I did not feel relaxed in the slightest. Instead, my friend and I just laughed and talked a lot, which made the situation much better.
Now, my biggest issue would be the safety hazards. I had to be very careful not to end up injured there. The ladder going into the bath was broken from one side, so it shook a lot. The tiles were all wet, and the sandals we had were greasy, as I mentioned before. The bench in the sauna had a broken slat. Finally, after the short massage, and my feet were covered in oil, the worker helped me off the table I was lying on, but did not continue to help me across the tiled floor. At this point, my sandals were elsewhere (not that they would've helped much) and I was trying not to fall and crack my head open.
On top of everything else, I felt the staff was mostly bored and uninterested, and just trying to get their work done. Meanwhile, the other staff smoked hookah and talked and laughed loudly, and then played loud Arabic music and were dancing. A place like this should be relaxing and rejuvenating, but it wasn't.
We spent about an hour there and the price was 15 JOD each, which was a special.

This is a good, basic Turkish bath that caters to locals. Luckily, the receptionist speaks some English and can explain the various services which are listed only in Arabic. For 50 Dinar ($70) I started with the jacuzzi, then the steam room. Then I got a full body scrub which was ok but not the best I've ever had. She did not scrub really hard but it also didn't hurt. I then had a full body (include face) mud application. Afterwards I had a fabulous full body massage. I finished with time in the sauna. This is all done on marble, some of which were heated. The floor is also heated. This is not, however, a typical spa where you can relax and be pampered. Arabic music played pretty loudly the entire time and while they had an area to relax and have tea afterwards, it was filled with the staff and was not very inviting. It was still a great way to spend a cold winter morning in Amman.
