I just received the worst eggs Benedict in my life.
Cheap ham, worse cheese, like in an American hamburger. the English muffin under baked and to top it all of a sauce hollandaise that so way off a normal sauce hollandaise that really this shouldn't be even called eggs Benedict.
The only good thing was the cafe Latte.

Sorry you had an unfortunate experience in Santa Marta. However, it wasn't with our Specialty Coffee Experiences, since they haven't been operating in Santa Marta since 2019. Also, we never served food or drinks with milk, since all our coffee tastings are done in the professional style.

This was an excellent tour of local coffee roasters and delicious specialty coffees. Daniela was a wonderful tour guide and coffee educator. I drink coffee often, but with her guidance I was able to explore the flavors in multiple ways I haven’t considered before now. She also gave great local restaurant recommendations and pointed me in the direction of some incredible chocolate.

The tour guide Daniela was very well versed in coffee and i learned a lot. She picked out some good coffees to try and was a delight. The tour was great.

Our Specialty Coffee Workshop experience was outstanding. Booking was easy and perfectly accomadated our needs. Our group ranged from serious coffee enthusiast to " I don't really like coffee, but I will come along". Everyone sincerely enjoyed the experience. We all learned alot about coffee. We enjoyed visiting the different locations, checking out the roaster, learning about proper preparation, trying our tasting skills and meandering about one of Bogota's coolest neighborhoods. Karen was a terrific teacher and guide, who kept everyone engaged to the point that we kept her about an hour longer than scheduled. She was patient and gracious, answering all of our questions. I would highly recommend this workshop to anyone at any level of coffee interest; just a great, enjoyable experience from start to finish.

Laura was very kind and informative! She gave us a brief tour of the neighborhood while en route to our various destinations. I came away feeling I learned a lot about Colombian culture, the coffee scene included of course.
I also loved that the tour company made an effort to support cafes that supported pickers, indigenous peoples, and other social causes.
This tour was very well done and the perfect kick-off to our Colombian adventure.

They canceled this tour the day before it was to happen. I could not access email at the time, so I wasted hours traveling and waiting for the tour guide. They still sent me many emails about the trip even though they had cancelled the tour. I booked months in advance too. Do not waste your time booking this tour.

I am so sorry that you had a negative experience. Unfortunately, our guide did get sick that week and to protect everyone involved, we had to cancel several days before the workshop. We apologize for the inconvenience, although the circumstances were out of our control. We do suggest that people who book experiences stay connected by phone or email so they can receive updates about their booking. Also, the emails you received after the experience were not from our company, but must have been from the website you booked through. I am sorry for the frustrating time you had - if our guide had not been sick we would have been able to do the workshop that day.

I had a great experience with Laura from Flavours of Bogota. She took me to some really nice cafes and taught me a lot about Colombian coffee and coffee culture!

We had a fantastic tour with Karen. She is so knowledgeable and passionate about specialty coffee. Karen was engaging, answered all our questions and gave us suggestions. An educational and very interesting tour.

This was a lovely experience and I would recommend it to any friend visiting Bogotá.
During the tour, Daniela explained a lot about coffee, its industry, and its importance to Colombia. Also, she put us in the position of coffee experts who had to taste different types of coffee and rate/categorize them.
Highly recommended!
