Excellent service, punctuality, an intelligent and personal approach, thoughtfulness and passion - these are the hallmarks of the Geotrend team. All the accommodation was of excellent quality. The programme was planned in such a way that we could enjoy nature, lunch, wine and sights at our leisure. That is to say, there was no exhausting rush. But without our guides - David and Akmal - the journey would be just a journey. They turned the journey into an adventure. Thank you friends!

It was a most unusual trip! If your goal is to truly understand a country, feel what it breathes and how it lives, then this is the place for you. You can learn about the love with which khachapuri is prepared in Batumi and the passion for tea in Gori. You will also discover the beauty of the abandoned city of Tskaltubo. In general, this amazing place has become even more wonderful thanks to our friendly guides.

We just finished the most unbelievable trip in Georgia and Armenia with GEOTREND travel. Akmal was fantastic in designing a personalized tour; for example, when he found out my husband loved to fish, he arranged a fishing day in a small village in Georgia. We were able to play golf (ended up the only ones on the course as it was chilly that day). Each day we visited a wine or brandy vineyard, some small family-owned and others large, international businesses, in addition to the many historical and national sites and treasures. We enjoyed the two traditional dinners (Georgian, Armenian) which included cultural music and dancing. I even got to try to make “lavash” (Armenian bread) in a traditional oven with a local family. Our guides (David, Narine) and drivers (Zurak, Aghas) became personal friends and we can’t thank them enough for their expertise and enthusiasm for their respective cultures. Highly recommend this travel agency; prices were near or less than the other 10 agencies we investigated. We’re already saving for a return trip!

My husband & I planned a private trip with Geotrend for 2020 which finally materialized now. From the time we were picked up at the airport till drop off, we were well taken care of by Akmal, the fabulous tour guide Tina and very skillful driver David.
Stunning scenery, beautiful monasteries & fortresses steeped in history, delicious food, the wine region, old world hospitality, all of this made our trip memorable & we wished we had planned more days. Hopefully we can go back to repeat some of the experiences & explore more with Geotrend team taking care of us. One of the best trips we’ve done!

We initially looked at their 9-day tour through Azerbaijan and Georgia, but asked to add four days to make it all the way to Batumi and the Black Sea. Akmal came up with the itinerary. We were extremely pleased with all the hotels, guides and drivers. The pace of the trip was good and the sites we saw were great. Their team greatly assisted us in retrieving a lost piece of luggage.
They were very good with all communications
We would certainly recommend them and would use them if we go again.

After booking train tickets with them, paying in advance. COVID took hold and our trip was postponed. At first Geotrend were helpful, we asked if our tickets can be moved to when we were able to travel again. They agreed and helped them as a family business.
Time came to rebook. Helpful again, then communication stopped. We still travelled to Georgia. Still no communication. Even our Airbnb host tried taking us to their registered address, couldn't find them.
So now they have all our money, even though trains were not running from Georgia to Azerbaijan (which we didn't know).
Basically upset they stopped communicating with me.
Please don't use this company.

Dear Andrew, thank you very much for taking effort and leaving this review. Sincere apologies if you think that we have stopped answering you...
Throughout our communication since 2019, when you initially contacted us, we've been trying to make everything possible for your train tickets to be issued. COVID pandemic was the reason for your trip to be postponed and we appreciated your decision not to ask for refund but to defer your travel for when travel will be open again. Our last email to you was in April 2022, answering your request with the new dates of travel. We did indicate in our response that trains were not running, and that we will definitely let you know when they will. Trains are not operating up to today. Since then we have never received a single email from you.
It seems a bit unfair to hear that we have stopped communication. We would like to reassure you once again that if when you're here next time we will be glad to welcome you and will be ready to compensate any misunderstanding and inconvenience you may have had.

Тот случай, когда хочется написать отзыв, что не так часто случается)) Очень давно планировали поездку в Грузию и в конце июня этого года мы, наконец, посетили эту чудесную страну. До сих пор вспоминаем эту поездку и хотим приехать еще и во многом благодаря Geotrend. Спасибо, всей команде (Андро, Мераму, Ксюше) и отдельная благодарность Акмалю! За чуткость, внимательность, профессионализм, оперативность, заботу, любовь к стране, которая отразилась в продуманной до мелочей программе, позволившей нам увидеть Тбилиси во всем его многообразии❤️ Так здорово, когда есть команда профессионалов, которая помогает не решать на отдыхе никаких организационных задач и все это берет на себя. Не знаем теперь как жить без Ркацители Квеври, так что ждите нас ещё))

One of the best tour agents I worked with and I worked with many all over the world. They organized our trip through Georgia and other countries in no time. Everything was smooth and classy - transport, logistics, accommodation, support… We’re certainly going to call them again!

I recently took a one-day, custom wine tour to Kakheti through Geotrend. It was fantastic. Our guide was a highly-educated young woman who spoke flawless English, personable, extremely knowledgeable of geography and history, and a trained opera singer! She sang for us. Our trip included included stops at an old church and castle, both quite lovely, and a farmers market. The highlight was a visit to the home of a local vineyard owner. He personally talked to us about his wines and family business, while his mother, wife and daughter prepared a fabulous home-cooked meal. We all ate together at his antique dining room table. A highlight of trip to Georgia.
