Great class and delicious food!

Yoojin was so sweet and nice! We ended up booking very last minute, so we were thrilled she had an opening for us. We started off by doing a market tour located just a few minutes from her place, which was so informative and fun. We got to try samples while we walked through. When we got back, we cooked several dishes, including bibimbap (which was my favorite), and the Korean pancakes. Yoojin explained all about the ingredients and methods as we went along. It was very hands-on, so we had a blast. The food was incredible and so easy to make! I can't wait to try out cooking at home with the recipes she sent us! I can't thank Yoojin enough-- we all had a BLAST. <3

Great class to learn healthy Korean cooking!

Yoojin is affable and passionate about what she does - meeting people and giving easy tips of how to whip up a delicious Korean meal on your own! Love it that we started with a walk through Mangwon Market - I still reminisce the yummy hotteok and regret passing on the tteokbokki! The class is cosy and easy to follow, Yoojin is always attentive and answers any question, plus takes really nice pictures of us in action! Being a solo traveller it was really great to sit down to a meal and drinks with new friends... I totally recommend it and would go for it again when I’m in Seoul again!

Low key and informative cooking class

Yoojin is a very lovely person! The dishes we made were delicious and fun to make. Yoojin even sends you the recipes after the class so you can remake the dishes at home! The market tour was great - Yoojin shared lots of facts about traditional Korean dishes and culture, which really made me feel like I was experiencing the culture in a deeper level. Would recommend for those who are first travelers to Korea!

Best cooking course money can buy!

This class is amazing. Informative, friendly and unbelievably fun. Yoojin is warm and runs such a great class.

We went as a group of 8 friends where we started off in the market tour, having loads of free tasters from the street vendors. We then walked 5 minutes to her welcoming kitchen. After cooking 4 different dishes in small groups we feasted on our delicious creations: kimchi, bibimbap, Korean pancakes and tofu stew. Yoojin even knocked us up some soju cocktails while we were eating!

Thank you Yoojin for an unforgettable time!

What an evening!!

Our host firstly showed us around the wonderful local market, which was both insightful and delicious. We then went to the the kitchen to start cooking the meal. We had great fun whilst learning to cook the traditional Korean dishes. It all finished with a beautiful dinner next to the kitchen. A real must for everybody in Seoul. Thank you Joojin! ❤️

Your Seoul Trip Isn’t Complete Without a Visit To...

Seoul isn’t complete without a trip to Yoojin’s class. The communication with Yoojin leading up to the class was seamless, the class outstanding, the trip to the markets a major highlight and to top it off she’s a lovely and amazing human.

I was travelling solo and Yoojin was more than happy to provide recommendations. Following the class I was sent various recipes to try at home!

I’ll be back!

Must do in Seoul

Yoojin is an amazing teacher, I was a bit worried before hand because it was a 1 on 1 class but she made everything very easy going and made the class to suit my pace. The food was amazing and easy to make, her studio is so cute and has a perfect set up for any size class. I was also able to ask and learn more about Korean culture and daily life and Yoojin was more than happy to give reccomendations for the remainder of my stay. Definitely going back next time I'm in Seoul!

Learned delicious healthy recipes

Yoojin is very nice and guides you through the recipes so anyone can keep up. We made healthy bibimbap and potato pancakes. Would certainly recommend!

So fun and tasty!

Thoroughly enjoyed this class! Fun, tasty and learnt so much! Yoojin is super nice, and so knowledgeable, she explains a lot of things. We made three dishes each: kimbap, fried chicken (so good!) and spicy rice cake stew. If you go, you must check out the ingredient set: soy sauce, gojujang and sesame oil. They are all organic and homemade, so much better than supermarket stuff. I wish I had bought more now!

YOOJIN’s kitchen experience was so unique and healthy!

I suggested my American friend, Peter to Yoojin's cooking class because I wanted to make a good memory while he was in Seoul, and choosing Yoojin's cooking class was the most appropriate choice. Making galbijim was a little bit difficult for Peter, but we learned the details about the ingredients and the meaning of galbi in Korean. Also, bibimbab was so colorful, which was great Korean dish to learn. Her specific explanation was easy to understand, and Peter and I enjoyed her class so much! Thanks Yoojin for preparing such a wonderful class! I want to recommend to anyone who visit Seoul!
