I knew that they were baseball mad in Korea so wanted to check it out when in Seoul for a recent business trip. What a great night out!!
Bought tickets along the first base line above the home cheer squad. That was jut as entertaining as the game!!
Plenty of food choices inside and outside the stadium. You can bring the food bought outside in with you if you like. Either way is a good choice.
If you’re unsure about buying merchandise outside at the club store, you won’t miss out once inside with more outlets inside.
Can’t wait to go back next time.

Older but great baseball stadium with the subway station right there on the spot! Wonderful crowd with lots of cheering and great food vendors inside and outside. Much cheaper than MLB games for good seats!
Only minus was when you get there - as a foreigner, it’s hard to figure out where to stand to buy tickets as everything is in Korean and there’s no one to ask (unlike Japan!)
A couple of travelers found out which line to stand to buy tickets vs picking up tickets and we helped each other out by spreading the word around. Go early as the line ups are long and make sure you stand in right line or you will have to line up all over again!

This review isn't so much about the stadium, but more about the experience of attending a KBO game. The title pretty much sums it up. And not only is it fun, it's affordable. Our tickets were around $15 and we were able to buy a 4 pack of beer at the convenience store outside the stadium for the price you'd pay for one beer at an MLB game. My wife's not sure she can go back to MLB games after this experience. If you can, try to get tickets in the orange or blue sections on the 1B side.

This was a fantastic Seoul experience.
We were there for a match in April and wish we had bought tickets online in advance as it was incredibly busy and only tickets with a restricted view were available for purchase on the night. On the plus side, the ticket was only about 6 dollars.
The seats did not detract from the night though as we stood at the back and enjoyed the incredible atmosphere and fans.
There are lots of great food vendors outside and less inside - mainly fried chicken and convenience food. There are also merchandise shops.
The stadium is accessible via the metro (green line).
A really great way to spend a night on Seoul.

My wife and I caught an LG Twins game here. Most aspects of the game are the same as in the US except for the fans. They sing a lot and are very lively. The visiting team’s fans were also boisterous the night we went there.
Another difference from the US - you can bring in your own food.
It was much windier in the park than it was outside. I wish I had dressed warmer.
It’s very difficult to for foreigners to buy tickets in advance. The ticket windows open 90 minutes before the game on weekdays (2 hours in advance on weekends, I think). People line up about 30 minutes before the windows open. We got great seats on the day of the game as the attendance was not very good. Prices are also very cheap. We had great seats @ $15 USD each.
If you’re a baseball fan you should make a point to catch a game in Seoul.

For the first time I saw an extra baseball game in this famous stadium where the Olympics were also held
Unique experience
If you are used to the curves of football stadiums, forget everything
Here you live an experience made up of songs, dances, choirs with respect for your opponent, in fact sometimes you sing choirs together, all seasoned with lots of food, snacks, drinks and beers
Even though baseball itself was quite boring for me, I have to say that it was 3 hours of absolute fun
Tickets cost very little, around 10/15 euros, you can buy them at the entrance
Very nice

Great game! Twins vs Lions! My first baseball game ever. The crowd was having a blast and all the food stalls were fantastic!

Saw a baseball game here: totally recommended. Tickets very cheap and easy to get at the venue. Good/drinks cheap and everywhere.
If you’re in Seoul during baseball season you have to go. Games very day but Monday.

I always go watch baseball games in Korea and this time was lucky cuz the LG Twins were playing the Doosan Bears so i've got both local teams playing against each other and the atmosphere was 2x amazing.
I don't have any Korean registered numbers so I can't buy tickets online and have to buy on spot but on most days tickets would still be available.

If you like baseball, this is the place to watch it! My adult son and I were looking for something to do in Seoul for an evening that didn't require a lot of walking after sightseeing for9 hours one day and decided to go to watch the LG Twins play a game. We had such a good time that we ended up going back for another game the next night! We got great seats for about 25% of the cost for similar seats in the U.S. The seats were comfortable and had lots of choices of where to eat both inside and outside the stadium. We were right next to the orange fans' section which made it extra-fun. By the end of the 7th inning stretch, we were able to do the hand movements to the chants. Bonus: the metro stop is right next to the stadium

hello, are binoculars allowed inside jamsil stadium? I plan to see a concert there and my seat is very far away from the stage, thank you
撰写日期:2019年9月12日
No problem bringing in binoculars for any event.
Yes, Solo attendees will have a blast and can easily make new Korean friends. Most Koreans speak English and LOVE to talk about their favorite teams/players. In fact, they may teach you a song of two to sing.

Is there a taxi station (taxi pickup) near the Stadium or sport complex station?
I will be a solo traveler, do you still recommend attending a game?
撰写日期:2018年6月1日
Absolutely!! No worries being solo. It’s a pretty fun atmosphere. Home team sits on the first base side like in the US . They chant more than visitors. Visitors side will be less crowded. But shouldn’t have trouble buying walk up tickets . They are the ticket windows to the right at the ticket windows. Have Fun!

What sections did everyone sit in? I am seeing a purple section (just to the let and right of home plate) but it says "table seating".
撰写日期:2018年3月27日
table seating like the name suggest attached to a table where you can comfortably put your food/drinks on but there are also normal seating offered next to the section and table seating usually more expensive than a regular one and it is closer to home plate as well

My experience is that online booking of tickets for Korean Baseball could be difficult. As far as I remember you need a Korean ID number and a Korean credit card to buy online.
I asked at the hotel where I stayed if they could help me. I was lucky enough that the lovely lady used her own number and credit card to buy tickets for me. At the stadium I could collect the ticket at the ticket office.
Maybe there are third party organisations who sell tickets to visitors. Probably these are more expensive and it's not sure the tickets are legit.
Weekends are more busy (I went on Friday evening and was full) maybe during week more quiet and you can buy tickets at the stadium itself. Go bit prepared (google translate is your friend) English is barely spoken, the noise and glass makes more difficult.
Good luck, and have fun! Great experience!
撰写日期:2017年4月30日
Pretty sure you can. We brought in a big bag of food from outside.
撰写日期:2017年4月9日
I tried to do this online but I think you need to be a Korean National to do so. I ended up going to the stadium and just stood in line -- I didn't get the impression they sold out and ended up with good seats. If you are staying in a Hotel maybe the concierge can help, but I couldn't do it myself eventhough the web site was in English. Oh and I recall they don't take AMEX just Vis and MC and cash of course. It was a great experience I hope you enjoy.
