我们顶着正午的烈日去的。大部分区域有遮盖物，能遮阴，但是商店非常拥挤，而且非常热。我们想找座位设在室内的餐馆，像在Gwangjang市场里的那些餐馆，但走了几圈还是找不到。最后去了一家普通的韩国“餐厅”，那里出售一些韩国食品。食物并不好吃，店里的菜肴并不设有主菜。如果你去，请走进一个小巷子，你会看到人们排队买烤鱼和蒸蛋。那可能是更正宗的韩国食物。

市场离我住的酒店非常近，所以我在晚上去了好几次。这里非常热闹，有着各种各样的美食。这里卖很多东西，有锅碗瓢盆，有牛仔裤，有三件套等等，非常有趣，值得来这里转转。

原本不在行程安排上的，但路过发现原来好多东西。类似广州的批发市场，韩版耳环首饰发饰品都很多，可以零售可以批发。我去了一家一件18000won的耳环店都很漂亮的。有下次的话要去淘货！

We are a family of 4, however there doesn't seem to be a room with enough bed options. The kids are too young to be left on their own. May I know if there are there connecting rooms option?

I don’t really do hotels but some airbnb options come with multiple beds in a room. Not sure if this helps?

Hi Friends, I read one review mentioning that the Namdaemun market is closed on Sunday. Is this correct ? We are planning to cover "Namdaemun Market" and "Myeongdong Shopping Street" on same day. We have just Saturday and Sunday for this and will plan accordingly. Please help and suggest.

Hi Deepak, it is usually open on Sunday, it was closed must be because there is a public holiday in Korea.
If you want to visit both Namdaemun Market and Myeongdong Shopping Street, I suggest you to find a customized tour in Seoul provided by Korina Tour. They have a great service for this kind of tour. Have a happy holiday!
Will the namdaemun market(children’s clothes and other indoor stores) and dongdaemun(migliore and hello apm) be closed on the hangeul holiday (Oct 9)?
Planning to go to these two on october 9, and im worried that they might be closed :(

Is the children’s clothes market in nandaemun open at around 11:00 PM? I saw in their website that their hours are 10:30 PM - 5:00 AM and 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM. Is this correct?

Most of the shops I saw seemed to be closing down when I was walking through around 8pm. It is a huge place though and some shops might remain open. I never went there during my visit, but I understand the other large market, Dongdaemun, had some areas open all the time.
