We had booked 3 days, 2 nights safari start from Diani Beach to Tsavo East/West and it was all around great. Already in advance Kurt answered all questions and gave us helpful tips for a successful safari. Super punctual we were picked up by our driver and guide David directly at our hotel. In Mombasa, he was joined by trainee Lafid, who later also wants to lead the safaris as a guide. Both were super friendly, fun and helpful and always took care of everything - an all-round carefree package. David also pampered us with a super-large background knowledge of the animal and plant world as well as the land and people. And because he knows everything, like in his vest pocket and the best places for wildlife watching, we got to see the Big Five as well as giraffes, crocodiles, antelopes, warthogs and hippos live. Just a breathtaking experience.
The two lodges in Tsavo East and West were also perfect.
Our conclusion: if safari, then via Kurt and with David as driver and guide!

A great safari, saw a lot of animals. There is also good information with German-speaking drivers. Everything well organized.

We had a one day safari and it was a spectacular experience. Omar was a terrific driver and guide. We saw lions, elephants, giraffes, buffalos, zebras, hippos, impalas and so much more. Everything was very well organised from the pick up at the hotel at 4 am, lunch in the game park and a safe but exciting trip back to the hotel.

Travel description of a "lovers safari, 4 days/3 nights Tsavo east/west and Tahita Hills". Day 1 The pick-up from the hotel on Diani Beach was on time. Departure from the hotel at 6:25 a.m. after handing over the remaining payment. The ferry crossing to Mombasa went smoothly without any delays. The driver wanted to make a short stop in Mombasa to hand over the money. Duration approx. 20 minutes. The subsequent journey from Mombasa towards Tsavo East seemed a bit hesitant to us (60-65 kmh) instead of a possible 80. Although we were overtaken by at least 20 safari vehicles, we weren't really thinking about the slow pace at that point. Shortly before the gate we were forced to interrupt the journey again. The driver's exact statement was, "We have to take a 30-minute break here". The place: a curio shop. Particularly worth mentioning: there was a cruise ship in Mombasa. Hundreds of passengers had decided to go on a day trip and had also been dropped off at the shop. The journey to the gate then took a matter of minutes. Before the driver took care of the entry formalities, he let a man we didn't know get in. He explained to us that he had to help and raised the roof of the vehicle. Before he got out of the vehicle, he realised that we definitely needed new headgear and offered safari hats for more than three times the price of the boutique. Another tourist rip-off organised by the driver. We were happy that the entry formalities had only taken 10 minutes and that the safari in the park could finally begin. However, it was 80-90 minutes later than necessary. The journey in Tsavo East started well. The pace was appropriate and we could look out for the animals while standing in the car. That changed abruptly about halfway to our lodge. Suddenly the vehicle picked up a speed that I would not have thought it was capable of based on the way it was dawdling on the road. There was no longer any question of animal observation. When we asked about it at the stop at our lodge, the driver simply said laconically that he had to make up for lost time. Time that he had previously wasted at our expense. The afternoon was initially a little quieter with a lion sighting. However, our driver noticed that time was running out again and the return journey ended at a rapid pace. Day 2 After breakfast at Tarhi Eco Camp, we drove to Tsavo West. Contrary to the description of the offer (game drive), we drove straight to the Mzima Springs. We drove briskly along a path that was bordered by dense bushes on the right and left, making it impossible to spot any animals. Immediately afterwards we drove to Ngulia Lodge for lunch. At 4 p.m. we drove to the rhino nature reserve. The time available was so tight that we only had 30 minutes to search (in vain) for rhinos. Then we immediately returned to the lodge.
Day 3 This was actually where the trip to the Mzima Springs was supposed to take place, followed by a longer game drive through Tsavo West southwards to Tahita Hills. Instead we headed straight for the Tsavo Gate (break for the driver of around 25 minutes) and then drove more than 93 km on the normal road towards Tahita Hills. The maximum speed was 60 km/h. Probably so as not to arrive there too early. At that speed he had time to maintain his "social media contacts" on his cell phone. To be on the safe side, the driver took a break of a good 30 minutes halfway through to do some personal shopping. We were then on site at around 11:30 a.m. to check in and were even able to go on a game drive before lunch. Then we drove to the Salt Lick Lodge to get into our room. Another game drive took place at 4:00 p.m. Day 4 The game drive before breakfast led to another lion sighting. After breakfast we headed straight home. We politely declined the generous offer of an invitation to lunch. The speed limit and the manageable network of roads in the Tahita Hills left the driver little room for arbitrary action. On the way back to Mombasa we were able to reach speeds of 80+ kmh. Around 70 km from our hotel on Diani Beach we had our driver replaced. Conclusion Looking at the whole process we come to the following conclusions: - the driver was primarily thinking about his Levantine business sense and not the interests of the customers. - We can only guess whether he saved some of the entrance fees by arriving late and leaving the parks early. - If the company were based in Europe, we would insist on a refund of at least 25% of the safari costs for services not provided. - We can only warn anyone interested in offers from Lady M Safaris not to accept them if they are assigned a driver like the one we had. Our experiences up to that point were based on safaris in 1993, 1996 and 1997. We could rightly describe the drivers assigned to us at that time as guides who were "passionate" about their country and the wildlife in it. In order not to fly home with the disappointment that we had to experience, we spontaneously decided to go on a flight safari with bush adventure to the Masai Mara. We were very happy to see the guides there again as we remembered them. Even if it was now the next generation. signed Hermann Schroeder, January 2024

We can recommend LadyM Safaris without hesitation and would book here again at any time.
Our 3-day beginner safari in Tsavo East and West was booked with Kurt for September '23 and everything went very smoothly and professionally. 2 days before the start of the safari, all of our questions were answered by Kurt in a personal meeting on site and further useful tips about the safari were given.
Our driver Naim was super friendly, funny and has a lot of background knowledge. Regardless of whether we had questions about the animal world or general questions about the country and its people, we always received extensive information and were able to learn a lot of new things overall. Naim responded to all of our requests and thanks to his good, precise eye we were able to see a lot on the first of the 3 days. Even with the umpteenth elephant and the umpteenth giraffe, he always waited patiently until we gave the "go" to continue. Overall, we were very lucky and were able to watch a lioness and a cheetah hunting, a really great experience!
After 2 of the 3 days we managed to see the "Big Five".
The two lodges during the safari were very nice and conveniently located for game drives.
Kurt also called our driver and us every evening to check whether we were happy, whether we were OK and whether there were any complaints. A very courteous manner that we really appreciated.
All in all, we are happy to give this super cool trip 5 stars.
Kurt and LadyM Safari team keep it up!

We went on a safari to the Massai Mara for 3 days/2 nights. The Aruba Mara Camp we booked completely met our expectations. The camp is right on the Talek River. Lady M Safari didn't promise too much on its website. The tent was super clean and the service in the camp was excellent. The food was just good. The game drives were breathtaking, the tour guide "James" was an excellent driver who couldn't have been more accommodating to our needs. His control of the vehicle was impeccable. As a photographer, he put me in the best possible photo position every time we saw an animal. All in all, it was 3 great days!!!!!!

We went on an incredible tour with LadyM Safaris from Diani Beach via Tsavo East, Tsavo West, Amboseli, Lake Nakuro and Masai Mara, ending at Nairobi airport. Even the planning in advance with Kurt via email went smoothly. Kurt always answered our questions promptly and brought in further ideas and suggestions that made our trip perfect. As drivers, we were put in the hands of Naim and that was the best thing that could have happened to us. Naim got the most out of every day for us and also had a good sense of what makes his "guests" tick and was always fully attentive to our needs. Naim has eagle eyes and thus enabled us to have great encounters. But even on the long stretches with chaotic traffic, we always felt safe with Naim. Thank you very much for this great time and the fulfillment of a dream!

We booked a trial safari for 2 days (one night) online. Contact was quickly made by email and all details were clarified quickly and easily.
To be on the safe side, cell phone numbers were exchanged and from then on all communication took place via WhatsApp.
On the first day, we were picked up from our hotel in Diani Beach well ahead of schedule and after a vehicle swap in Mombasa, we drove for a good hour in the booked jeep towards Tsavo East. Our driver was fantastic and the first morning was full of great experiences. Shortly after midday, we were able to relax a little at the booked lodge and have something to eat before going on another game drive. As the sun set, we drove back to the accommodation.
The next morning, we set off very early with our cheerful guide on the last leg before heading back towards Diani Beach around midday.
To avoid the big traffic jam at the ferry in Mombasa, our driver suggested a route along the Shimba Hills. The route was adventurous and an additional experience. When we arrived in Ukunda, we all had a late lunch together in a restaurant on the side of the road! That too: fantastic!
All in all, a great safari with a great guide. It's also worth mentioning that Kurt asked us every day how we were and how the tour was going! Thank you and we can highly recommend you. Thank you Naeem ;)

We have had a big group in Kenya and LadyMSafaris helped us with smooth programme and worked really great. They were always there for us and reachable if we needed anything. Also they are really fun and you are never bored with them, to have a drink and talk with Andrew, Rama, Nur or Kamene is strongly recommended as they are a good company not only in a business sense. We had a great time on safari – Ali – the safari driver guide - is the boss of the jungle and knows a lot about the wildlife. They are professionals and know how to organize trips to client‘s satisfaction even if you need to make some last minute changes on the spot they are always trying to meet your highest expectations and are doing their jobs with passion and dedication. Thank you!
