First time I visited water park in Hong Kong is already several decades ago when I was studying Form 4 in secondary school. I love that so much but sad that the park closed down since then. Quite recently, a new one was built and I can finally experience the splash fun again.
The first impression after entering is that: oh! how come it's so small and mainly indoors 😮 but later we found it not bad and there're sufficiently different things to play.
We went on a Saturday in May and entered soon after it opened at 10am, not crowded that day. Perhaps students are still having exams. I advise that one should better book the locker online a day before as all the large ones were fully booked upon our arrival. There are 3 sizes of locker for rental.
There are around 3 eateries or restaurants inside, price affordable (HKD100 for a lunch set eg burger, rice, noodles with a drink) . Taste not good though. It accepts credit card and octopus card, so one needs to go back to the locker (which is near entrance) to take the card for payment. Rather inconvenient. I expect that the bracelet provided upon entering should be able to handle bill too.
Overall, we feel happy and will certainly come back! The price is good HK$280, student has discount

The park was open only 5 days a week and sold discounted tickets. I can only guess it’s still considered low season locals despite it being Easter and Ching Ming and temperatures in the high twenties. The rides are fun and queues are no more than 10min.
The changing rooms and toilets were the cleanest I have seen in any water parks. This is compared to the ones in Europe. The floors are dry, no hair or paper on the floor. The rides are great and the staff took safety measures seriously. They checked the inflatables and I saw them putting some aside for repairs. This again is a huge contrast to the ones in Europe where we often find under inflated inflatables. They also weigh riders to make sure their combined weight is within safety limits.

Went to Ocean Park Waterworld in March. Ticket price and rental fee of lockers are both discounted during off-season. Queuing is still expected for popular facilities. Facilities for kids less than 1.2m are limited, but still a fun experience for the kids.

This was my second visit: this time with husband and my oldest child, the previous time had been with another adult.
Compared to my previous visit, it was notable how overcrowded the attractions were due to 4 attractions (including 1 big outdoor wave pool!) being closed. This may have been due to the fact it was low season at the park, but that’s still a cheap trick to play on paying customers.
In addition, the food at the park was expensive and oily… though admittedly Ocean Park food had always beeen of a worse standard than Disneyland.
Would not recommend at full price, but still a worthwhile way to spend a day out… just be sure to check things are open first!

The best part of this place was the wave pool, yet even at that they only turn it on for 10 minutes. I'd advise the owners to stop the useless Fitness class at the wave pool, and the dance class too. There is a reason the whole area cleared out - you turned the waves off to do a zumba class. I reassure you not a single person goes to a water park to practice zumba. Read the room and cancel it.
Half of the slides were closed that day, and we were not informed of this until we got there. The website said they were open until shortly prior to our visit. The money grabbing is disappointing too, if I'm paying big money to go here I'd expect a free locker.

An underwhelming afternoon at the waterpark.
Very, very slippery floors, one child injured in our group and it a seems that this is very common. Cheap non slip, flooring that doesn’t work when wet!
Staff all very nice, but incredibly slow. It was empty today, but still long queues.
Not so many rides
I will not be rushing back.

Horrendous, booked tickets and communicated with staff at ocean park how to visit water world. All great and nice, let’s go for some fun. Upon our arrival, water world was empty, eventually closed. Not a single hint everywhere as to what to expect. Not online nor from staff. Stay away

Went early on a weekend but rain day hence there were not too many people. Pretty much didn’t have to line up for most of the rides which was perfect when I brought along 2 kids. Was there for over 5 hours and spent mostly on the indoor rides.
I’ve reserved parking and locker in advance which saved me from hassle as I got all the QR code in advance and it was a breeze with parking (remember to have the QR code ready before entering the parking lot or you’ll be spending time searching on the phone while blocking the cars behind) and storage.
An area that could improve on is the food variety… limited choice of food that are not tasty yet they charge arms and legs for it.

We spend a whole afternoon in the park. It is not crowded at all. Maybe its ticket price is high or we went there in a weekday afternoon.
The slides and rides are excellent. It is the best in the Asia as of 2023 summer. It has all types of the rides that you can get in the other water park as far as I have been to. Moreover, some of the rides are even more excited than similiar types of water parks. Safety measure is good as of now. The riders are needed weight before jumping onto the rides and make sure there is no overweight. There are 2 wave-beaches, one in-door and one-outdoor. More than 6 types of slides and make up more than 15 slides and rides.
The food choice inside the restaurant is limited however it is not as pricy as you found in the Disneyland Hong Kong.
We have bought spalsh pass pro which costs more than the admission tickets . But, it gave us quick access to nearly all rides (except one). My kids and me had done more than 30 rides in just one afternoon with the pass.
The chaning room is clean and tidy. Locker rental is not cheap. But, you need to count this into your cost.
The equiment is good in order and do not see any maintennace works.
The way to get there is a bit difficult as you need to get a shuttle bus from the main entrance of Ocean Park. And the seat on the shuttle bus may requires reservation which I think is not easy on busy days. The only other ways is by Taxi or drive there (another $250 parking fee).
Since this water park has just opened for less than a year. I hope this can be kept up with time.

This is our first time here.
We had a good and happy day. However it does not live up to the (high) price.
There are very many personnel and in the pools, you can do almost nothing, how many times did we get the whistle? I asked them and they could not even explain why the whistle at my 5 and 9 years old boys.
The rides are fun and thrilling, can’t however understand why the waiting times are that long… When the people upstairs are down, it should be able to open up for the people upstairs. Now the people downstairs at places, especially at the rainbow slides where too tough on having us leave too fast out of the fenced area.
The food options are mediocre.
The changing rooms are great.
The luggage storage boxes are all with the same depth and can not really take a suitcase.
Will we be back? No I don’t think so, it is too expensive to what we got and especially the restricted attitude to “fun”.
However, for a one time visit, yes. For a second visit, perhaps not.
