观看的人很多，很多人提前很长时间就过来选好位置方便观看，北岸比南岸观看更好看一些？吃过晚餐，来溜达溜达看看还可以

这次选择搭船欣赏维多利亚港的除夕灯光秀，非常值得一游，近距离观看无缝拼接，走过广场观看不妨搭船一游更佳！搭配新春光影秀更有看头！

这是第二次看幻彩咏香江，听说2017年12月表演重新改版，采用更多样更新颖的灯光效果，让我很期待，很早就在尖沙咀文化中心卡位。但整个表演令我很失望，因为和改版之前差异不大，一样松散，一样缺乏扣人心弦的震撼力。

真心觉得难看，这跟游客多寡没有关系，音乐和灯光感觉是两条平行线，各做各的事情。因为知道这是来香港观光一定要走的行程，观光客一定很多，所以提早去卡位。等了那么久呈现出来的是这样的效果，澳门银河的钻石大堂都比这个好看。

I am travelling and do not have my Man Mo pictures with me. It is worth taking a look. Hollywood Road is fairly long and is close to Soho and Lan Kwai Fong areas. Personally, I would not go there especially, but combine it with a trip to Central and the above areas. In HK nothing is too far away.

The only hotel nearby and in line with the display is The Peninsula. But you won't get much from there or anywhere else in doors. The display is accompanied by music and you have to be outside on the waterside to hear it. You won't be impressed, but go along to the area west of the Star Ferry for the best experience. There will be hundreds of other disappointed people there to share it with you.

Arguably, the hype is better than the actual show. We saw the light show in fine weather (except for the smog from the Borneo fires) and went away very disappointed - from the Kowloon side, a countdown on a building across the harbour and then a few green and white lasers into the sky. Didn't even rate a tick-off on my bucket list.
