This place is magic. Truly one of my favourite memories of the Philippines was doing sunset yoga at Birdhouse. The class is held in a small open air studio up the top of the property (bit of a hike but you will stretch it out!), overlooking Las Cabañas beach and the ocean. It’s an amazing space to practice, away from the busy hustle and bustle of the main town, colours changing around you as the sun sets and you stretch the travel tensions away. 100% would say if you want to have a day off island hopping, explore the beaches of El Nido, maybe take a scooter up to Nacpan or Lio beach, and then come down to Las Cabañas in the afternoon for yoga at Birdhouse. Definitely recommend staying for dinner after practice too at their restaurant The Nesting Table (book ahead to reserve a table so you don’t miss out).

I had the most amazing sunset yoga session. I only started practicing yoga recently and this class made me want to practice more.
Thanks so much for accommodating me. I would love to recommend the place to my friends to have such wonderful experience too. 🙏

WOW ! What an amazing experience we had for 3 nights at The Birdhouse! The concept is so unique! The view we had from our nest was surreal and so beautiful! The food is so delicious, we tried almost everything on the menu. Service was unbelievable... We had to leave early in the morning for activities and they always made sure we had a lunch (even is the restaurant wasn't open yet). We did 2 nights of sunset Yoga which was so nice to do ! Special thanks to Caroline, the yoga teacher! It was a magical lifetime experience that everybody should try ! We'll come back for sure one day!

They say that what you do the First of the year, you do the Rest of the year. I truly hope so! My family and I did an amazing yoga flow with Caroline on January 1, 2020 to commemorate our family reunion and 25th wedding anniversary of my sister and brother in law. I have to say this was one of the HIGHLIGHTS of our trip. First of all the Space is Magical! OK, so there were about 200 log steps up you had to climb but I guarantee you that IT IS WORTH IT once you get to the top. The space is warm and inviting. You have an amazing view of the bay and the islands close by. We had a 4 PM session which allowed us to enjoy the beautiful changes in the light and we ended at sunset with THE MOST AMAZING SUNSET I've ever seen. Caroline our yogi accommodated our mixed group of first time yogis to a certified yogi. She brought us together in an energizing flow recognizing each others ability and coming around to help with form and adjustments. Truly a mark of an amazing teacher! She was warm and friendly and very accommodating. Our group proceeded to have delicious amazing food at the NESTING TABLE, the restaurant in the property. We had a group of 18 and everyone was very happy with their selection that accommodated vegetarians, pescatarian, meat and alsoFilipino cuisine. Don't miss the cocktails! I personally can't wait to return to this place and I'm recommending this for our yoga group that does international retreat. I give this place 5 STARS for the people, location, yoga and the amazing vibe that it offers.

On January 1, 2020, we started our year with the most amazing yoga practice, with our wonderful teacher at this gorgeous location! I cannot thank you enough for accommodating our group and being so welcoming. The class was just the right amount of challenge and ease to be appreciated by all of my guests. As a yoga teacher myself, I have to say that this location is my most favorite place I’ve ever practiced. Thank you for leading us through breath and helping me to reconnect with myself. Namaste.

A magical lifetime experience on this natural island from heaven, El Nido bird house. At first, u would think that may be some photos are photoshopped until u actually walk up the stairs of the bird house and reach the yoga shala on top then u realize that no computer graphics will be able to mimic this gorgeous view. Incredibly friendly Michelin star customer service to complement that unreal beauty of nature. Thank you awesome teacher @jivamuktiwithdina for taking care of us and thank you El Nido staff for welcoming us as family. Much love.

On a fait la séance du yoga avec Caroline, excellente séance avec une vue magnifique !!
Petite proposition de ma part : mettre une musique zen pour camoufler le bruit de zipline qui est pas loin..
Mais sinon la séance est au Top ! Merci Caroline ! Je recommande fortement cette séance de yoga !
Après la séance de yoga, nous avons choisi de boire un verre dans leur restaurant. Le personnel est vraiment très gentil et professionnel. La décoration est vraiment sympa et la vue est à couper le souffle !

We booked an afternoon yoga which completely exceeded our expectations. The actual yoga was professionally lead by Caroline. It was a proper yoga class. And the view was the best we’ve seen in the Philippines.
It was my boyfriends first time doing yoga and there were a few other guys that were just trying it for the first time as well but we all really appreciated and enjoyed the class.

My friend and I joined a beautiful sunset yoga class taught by Caroline, which was a great sequence for all levels. The shala is something else, with views across the bay and lighting you just couldn’t find elsewhere, making it worth the sweaty journey up the 200 bamboo stairs. Top tip: wear bug repellent! Sunset yoga classes are the only public classes and run every day at 5pm for an hour, costing 600 pesos.

Good afternoon. Yoga class is each day at 5pm. Shoot us a message on our @hebirdhouseelnido page on ig or fb to find out how to get to us. There are specific directions and a map to us. Come up a bit early to enjoy the restaurant view and spend time at the mothernest.
