Our guide, whose name was Hundred Ang, was excellent. His knowledge of the history of Singapore and how that plays out in their cuisine was remarkable. He took care of every detail during our tour including having a big supply of wet wipes! The foods we tried in each ethnic area along with the story behind them was so enjoyable. Hundred also gave us a lot of other specific advice on other areas to explore and remained in contact with us via WhatsApp the following day. Nothing less than 5* for him.

Grayson was an incredibly polite, knowledgeable, funny, and informative guide. His knowledge of the many different cultures' history, landscape, and food is quite extensive. His patience for our group frequent stops and questions was greatly appreciated. This is our 2nd food tour and it did not disappoint. Thank you Grayson for a fantastic time!!!

This was a memorable & impressive tour of the city. Our tour guide, Richard, was informative and articulate. We’ve learned a lot of history & practical information from him. Richard knows the city like the back of his hand that we have managed to walked around the city without getting too much sun exposure & bogged down by the heat. He’s not only a great photographer but also showed us to the food courts & use of MRT system. We highly recommend this tour & ask for Richard if you choose to go on this tour.

I’m hesitant to write this review because I felt some compassion for our guide. He gave off a tired and unhappy vibe and was perfunctory in his explanations. I don’t want to put his job in jeopardy but need to point this out. We tipped well regardless. Maybe he could take a break to regroup and regain the passion for the region’s incredible culinary legacy? The concept of multi cultural food experiences is fantastic — we’ve done these all over the world (Colombia, Denmark, Norway, Iceland, Peru) but the food stall selections were really subpar. Given the amazing quality of food in Singapore, I was so disappointed. My partner and I are avid home chefs from California so we appreciate and recognize great food (street food is a favorite). I hope this review serves to encourage a revamp of the VIP food tour.

Marcus introduced himself at our meeting spot on Arab street and immediately dove into the history and culture of the area explaining how the city was founded. Our first taste was in a middle eastern restaurant, Nur Fayhidya, the first of many delicious stops.
Marcus was quite attentive to our needs as one of our daughters had a little gastric distress from our previous travels.
From there he took us into the subway and showed us how to easily navigate the expansive system.
We explored Little India and then China town. In each of these areas he took us to food halls we would never had ventured into if it weren’t for our guide. He showed us the food stall quality rating system and how to choose vendors.
We highly recommend Marcus!

Marcus was amazing! He gave us so much information and guided us around the city—we used the Singapore subway and it was a very good experience. The food was delicious and he provided background information for each of our stops. My friends and I really enjoyed this excursion and would highly recommend it!

Marcus guided us to the Malay, Indian and Chinese districts in Singapore. While sampling the various food he gave a lot cultural background Information.

Excellent tour w/locally raised guide. Grace was not only knowledgable about the various cuisines in the different neighborhoods we walked thru, but she also shared in-depth history of Singapore. We loved that we were on a private tour too, not a large group. Fascinating way to see this muti-cultural melting pot.
