Staffs were courteous. Sound system & lighting was good. However, female toilet cubicles were not much at each level of the theatre. Food & drinks were priced SGD$5 on average.

I have been to the Marina Bay Sands Theatre several times over the years. I mostly go to watch the musicals such as Aladdin, Wicked and most recently, &Juliet.
The website makes it easy to book tickets. The lines to enter are long, but the ushers are quick. It's easy to find your seat and the seats have enough space and they are comfortable. The sound and lights are great.
The experience changes based on how good your seats are; but all in all, it's a good theatre to watch musicals at.

We booked Matilda. The show time was 8 pm. I reached at 8.01 pm and was told to wait outside the theatre for almost 20 minutes - it was like being in high school! Being punished for being late by standing outside the classroom!
Having experienced Broadway in NY and London, the experience at MBS Theatre was so juvenile!
People running MBS Theatre need to be more rational and sensitive to the customer experience that they are providing.
Never ever going again.

Venue is nice, seats are comfy but no respect to the artists and most of the audience.
It has been years, and nothing has changed. latecomers should wait till the intermission to enter the show but NO! The staff let every latecomer in even after 40 minutes into the show.
Personally I cant tolerate such behavior from latecomers and how MBS theater managed such behavior. Not the kind of venue where I wish to go but perhaps latecomers will love it!

VIP Box is big enough to put in at least 5 pram and 2 cuddle but we are not allowed to take in 1 basket for 3 mo baby while they require ticket for anyone elder than 0 days old. Bad customer experience.

Went to watch The Sound Of Music and bought the 1st row of Grand Cirlce seats. Bad choice because our views are literally blocked by the safety barrier bar at the middle of our eye level when we sit down. So either we lean forward in our seats or have to strain our neck to view. And that's not the worse.
The theater was selling F&B so we were horrified to discover constant noise of paper/plastic bags opening and munching, with people openly eating and drinking along during the performance.
There was no respect for the musical, performers and other viewers. I thought I was watching a movie in a cinema. When I approached the Ushers during intermission, I was told they are allowed to bring in the chips and popcorns and drinks bought at outside their foyer except hotdogs and ice creams have to be consumed outside.
I'm dumbfounded and I don't think I will ever spend money to waste on such theater experience again.

The theatre that hosts different shows every month at the MBS Shoppes. We just watched the Illusionists and will be catching the John williams concert next month. They have the ABBA show in august

A great evening watching this good production. Athletic performers and actors, prancing all over the whole theater was a treat. Cats from British actors and actresses. Some were trained ballet background . Worthwhile.

The theatre is a good size facility, sounds is good and seats comfortable for a theatre.
Cats production was ok although hard to follow, some great dancing and musical numbers. Many made the comment that it was far from an international standard Cats production, when compared to other Cats productions.
Avoid the Show/Dine package as they are a real disappointment. Very little food, average quality, no place to sit and understaffed bar so hard to get drinks. We left after 30 minutes as it was a joke.
