如果新加坡河是新加坡的母亲河，这里会找到新加坡的历史建筑改造的餐厅，而库克码头更是酒吧夜店林立的地方，可以先到Boat Quay晚餐再到Clarke Quay消遣。

我们是在下午来的，漫步游览的时候又热又潮湿。晚上来的话，楼房和河船的灯都亮起来应该更美。这条河现在变得干净了，码头都不再用来卸货了，河畔有许多高价的招揽游客的餐厅。这条有历史的河还是很值得来走走看看的。

鱼尾狮那儿的那一条河就是新加坡河吧。
新加坡河是新加坡32条主要河流之一。从金声桥源起，向南倾入滨海湾蓄水池。
现在又小型的机动船在河上穿梭，也是可以供游客观光游览的。
总长3.2公里。游船价格：成人15新元，儿童8新元。
新加坡确实还是蛮值得一去的旅游城市，但是建议不要节假日去，人多酒店贵，吃东西还排队很长。
也不建议夏天去，虽然一年四季都热，但是我们国内的冬天去，和夏季去还是有明显不一样的感受。
酒店价格最好选1000元以上的，因为房间实在是太小了，大一点休息好了，才能愉快的玩耍呀。

新加坡河提供了一个通过水路来欣赏美妙的城市景观的方式，尤其是海滨和克拉码头。我们乘坐了一艘小渡船——有很多就停在河里——带领着我们过河。晚上是观赏新加坡河的最佳时间，因为城市灯光提供给我们一个美妙的体验！我们可以看到许多著名的地标景观，如滨海湾金沙和浮尔顿酒店，亮堂堂！

我们沿着美丽的新加坡河从乌节路漫步到滨海湾金沙。 一路走来河边非常平坦，干净，安全，并且可以通向商业区，沿线也有提供许多餐厅。这条河可以从非常多角度映射新加坡的美丽的天空景色。

不管是白天还是晚上，这条河都值得乘船观光。坐在游船上，沿途你会看到历史悠久的地区、旧时的仓库，以及克拉码头边上的许多餐馆和酒吧。你还可以选择沿着河畔散步。后者更加平和浪漫。晚上，华灯初上，所有的灯光汇聚成一道非常明亮的天际线，包括滨海湾金沙酒店。灯光反射到河面上，使它看起来闪闪发光。这是一个喝杯睡前酒的好地方。

我们沿着长廊散步，欣赏美丽的河景。我们还在河上航游了一个小时，航游成人只需25新元。在我们参观期间，鱼尾狮被遮盖维修了，在沿河散步的时候我们确实很喜欢看到雕塑，以及那些跳入水中的男孩。晚上从Fullerton旁的河边可以看到很棒的夜间喷泉和极光灯表演。

这是一个绝佳的地方，你可以在这里欣赏雕塑、建筑和河流。这里有很多吃东西的和喝东西的地方，有很多值得拍照和享受的地方。我们走了很长一段路，四处看看，然后停下来吃饭。既安全又干净。

the boat ride cost 25 sgd. this was for a round trip tour. they do have stops but I think you will need to pay if you want hop back on

Where exactly does the light show happen at night on the river stretch and what part is the merlion also the river cruise ticket counter. Are these easily walkable distance or long distance from each other.what should be a good starting point. Clarke quay or bayfront itself ? Good and reasonablejapanese/cantonese/Indian restaurant recommendation for dinner. TIA

The Singapore River, 15 minutes walk from source to mouth, flows into the Marina Bay which is now a lake. River cruises starts from the Clark Quay side, going out river and into the Bay and return back to Clark Quay. Another cruise starts at the front of Marina Sands, going around the bay and into the river and back. I suggest you take the one at Marina Bay if you want to have dinner at Marina Sands where there are Chinese, Indian, and Japanese food. The light show starts at 8 pm and last 19 minutes. There is another show at 9 pm. It is free. The venue is just outside the main entrance to Marina Sands (Hotel, Shopping Mall, and Casino.) 2 minutes walk from the River Cruise jetty. You can walk to the opposite side (of the bay) where the Merlion can be found. You can walk all round the Bay if you have the time. For good Indian food you have to visit Little India and for many varieties of Chinese food Chinatown is the place. Orchard Road should have many good Japanese food. Try Takashimaya a very prominent shopping complex in Orchard Road the major road for shopping in Singapore. Sorry for the delay. If you come to Singapore you may contact me to take you around the Garden By The Bay, Chinatown, Little India, Orchard Road, Marina Bay, and Bukit Timah Reserve where good hiking is free.

Which one wud he better...the river cruise or duck tours? Both sail along singapore river. I'm travelling with my 12 year old and was wondering which amongst the 2 wud be more exciting for kids that age.

Take them out after dark on the river cruise to see the sights all lit up - aim for a boat with large amount of seating at the back for the best views

I haven;t visited Singapore for over 15 years.
During this visit we stayed at the Concord Hotel which is now the Holiday Inn Singapore Atrium, where we are hoping to stay again.
We used to walk along the river and pick up a 'bumboat' taxi to and from Clarke Quay.
I note the area between the hotel has now been built up and Robertson Quay has been developed.
I was wondering if the 'bumboat' taxis now run as far as Robertson Quay.
Hope someone can offer advice.

Hello - we visited Singapore at New Year for the first time since 2009 and much has changed in that time - looking at google I have found that the Singapore River Cruise Commuter service only runs for a limited period of time during the day - 8-10 am and 5-7pm from the Esplanade to Robinson Quay - Weekdays only - no service on weekend - you would have to look at Singapore River Cruise website for information on their other services
Given the changing geography of Singapore I would suggest revisiting your hotel choice - both Clarke Quay and Boat Quay are now full of entertainment, eating and drinking opportunities and an easy stroll away from a number of hotels such as the Novotel and Merchant Court which is practically on a MRT station and therefore offers direct access to changi airport - as I said much has changed

We did the $20.00 cruise it went up the river around and past marina bay sands and we used the company that was across from Clarke quay mall . It has a little kiosk but sorry I don't know the name of the company . It was about 1 hour I think maybe less as we did not have much time . Enjoy
