It was fun and the puzzles were quite puzzling, I must say.
But nonetheless, the game master helped us out by giving hints when we seems lost.

Awesome escape room, tried cursed tape. One of the staff, Tasha was really helpful and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

We played the great escape and Gerard as a *spoiler* prison guard really provided the scare and panic factor 😂😂😂 really fun but not unsolvable - staff were friendly enough with the clues too!

Went for the Great Escape. Gerald was the facilitator for our game and it was rly fun, he was very helpful!

Once you find it you are fine! The new rooms are not given good directions amenities is in a big mall. I think it was the 3rd floor around my the medical aesthetics places. We asked lots of people in the mall who hadn’t heard of it as it had just opened. No signage and nothing on the website.
Having said that we had a great time. We did the Alchemist room. Our helper gave us just the right amount of assistance to be challenged but not completely stuck. We liked the hidden entrances into other rooms. Some neat ideas.

Big shoutout to Lei for helping me and my colleagues host our team bonding activity at the Escape Room! I greatly appreciate his help as we ding dong over email alot with regards to the deposit and he was kind enough to accommodate to my requests with regards to payment!
On the actual day, he briefed us and made sure we enjoyed our time inside! We also liked the themes of the Escape Rooms, we took the not too scary and not too difficult rooms so we took around 50mins (out of 1h) to finish the room! Will engage Lei again for future events if any ☺️

We came here based on the past reviews, but have to say it was a bit of a disappointment. So I decided to read back some of the reviews. It’s interesting that the last few dozen reviews are written by reviewers who have only reviewed 1-2 other things, sometimes none. I wonder why this is? Hmmmmmm?
I wish there was an option on trip advisor just to read reviews from people who have posted a least 10 reviews. I think I would listen more to those people?

We've done escape rooms all over Europe and the US, and I honestly can't understand where all these stellar reviews come from. We chose the Jigsaw room and were severely disappointed. The props looked very cheap and the riddles were often highly illogical. One of the mechanisms was broken, so the gamemaster had to come in and open the next door manually. There were also a lot of 'clues' that didn't have anything to do with the riddles and were just meant to throw you off, which was also quite frustrating. The girl from the counter was very nice and helped us get through, but due to the illogical nature of the puzzles, she couldn't really give us any clues, but instead pretty much had to tell us exactly what to do. All in all, this experience wasn't worth neither the time, nor the money. We won't be returning there and I also cannot recommand it to anyone.

Thanks for the valuable feedback. We will do our best to address your feedback.
I understand that you've done a bunch of escape rooms all over Europe & US, but it seems that maybe our escape rooms are just a tad higher on the difficulty level compared to those you played. Our staffs tried to warn you that Jigsaw is a difficult level room and has a min 3 pax to play rule. But you mentioned over email (that you've played a bunch of escape rooms in Europe) and over the counter (our staffs tried to convince you to instead try another themed room which is slightly easier). But you insisted that you played loads and wanted to still play Jigsaw.
Perhaps you are just not used to a really difficult level escape room. (This room has got some maths and world exploration concept to go back and forth the multiple rooms to put together some clues. Not an easy task with just 2 pax)
Also you claimed one of the mechanism was broken. Upon investigation, nothing was really broken. You were just supposed to insert the wires in the box (a straight forward action) but somehow perhaps the wire was twisted and turned causing the nut below it to go loose too. In any case, our staff had come in and assisted you.
We suggested 3 or more people as this is a difficult puzzle room and sometimes more people can bounce more ideas of each other. Jigsaw is one of our best room and we 'almost' always have a 5 star review. A very small percentage actually have a difficult time understanding how the puzzle works (but i think this is because they usually came in larger groups and so had more people to brainstorm)
We are terribly sorry you did not fare well at Jigsaw, and we recommend perhaps you try our easy rooms first before attempting the difficult one right away albeit having conquered a bunch of escape rooms all over Europe & US under your belt. We did try to warn you in all fairness.
But once again we apologize that the room was too difficult, and we thank you for your valuable feedback nonetheless.

Had been to the Scape and was equally impressed with the one at The Cathay. Our Games Masyer - Lei- was enthusiastic and helpful.
We needed lots of extra clues to get out but if u r experienced, u could probably challenge yourselves to "escape" without requiring help@
