I am sorry we didn't meet your expectations. We have tried reaching out to you and unfortunately, there was no reply. Allow us to share our investigation with you. a. Our records show you didn't visit The Intan. It was your parents who visited The Intan. As per Tripadvisor guidelines, only those that visited the establishment are qualified to write the review. We have since updated TripAdvisor accordingly. b. As we didn't have a scheduled tour on the day of visit, we made the extra effort to search for other visitors so that your parents would share towards the cost of a private visit, making it more affordable for them. At the last moment, we couldn't find any other visitor but continue to only charge your parents the cost of their part and not the whole private visit. c. The appointment was made for 4 pm and your parents arrived at 30 minutes late. Thanks for emailing us to apologize for the mistaken timing that you had given them. We proceeded to spend more than an hour with your parents. d. Yes, the Baba house is a wonderful museum owned and supported by the Government and fully funded/owned by the University of Singapore. The Intan is a private museum with zero funding from the government. Our work includes supporting public events for the community and supporting a host of charities. e. Over the last 16 years, The Intan has been awarded Best Museum Experience by the Singapore National Heritage Board, Best Tour Experience by Singapore Tourism Board and the prestigious President's Volunteerism and Philanthropy Award. f. Lastly, we remember that your parents were delighted with the visit . We remember they highlighted it was an insightful experience which they had missed over the several visits they made to Singapore. As Easter was approaching the following week, they made a lovely promise to light a candle for us when they return to England and we would do the same as we would be in Jerusalem. g. We look forward to the opportunity to host you personally @ The Intan. And hopefully, it will give you a chance to personally experience The Intan Experience and.
