Though quite far away from the city center, a nice decent place to go and get a good workout done. Great for the people who live nearby.
I especially go here to log in morning runs.
Presently construction is going around the area, so some parts are partially closed.

來到榜鵝區，除了逛逛商場之外，當然要乘坐這裏的輕軌鐵路走訪社區的不同角落。雖然這裏是民居區域，沒有什麼特別有名的旅遊景點，小橋流水穿梭在榜鵝區真的很美。是都市和自然的完美融合。特別推薦輕軌PE4站（Riviera）附近的“Big Fish Small Fish”炸魚薯條店！

Nice scenic place for jogging. One loop is about 8km. A good place to see the sunrise and sunset. Remember to check the timing to catch the spectacular view

Untuk mencapai lokasi Punggol Waterway Park sangat mudah sekali karena lokasinya tepat berada di depan LRT Station Sam kee PW1. Ketika kami sampai di tempat ini hari masih pagi, sehingga terasa sangat nyaman, sejuk dan segar sekali menghirup oksigen di taman ini.

This park is tucked away in a quiet neighbourhood but is surprisingly beautiful and refreshing with the waterway running through it. There are nice benches on the boardwalk for quiet reflections and nice bridges linking both sides of the waterway. SAFRA located in the park also provides many promising activities for a day of fun.

If there's one thing that Singapore urban planners are getting it right...yes, it's the public parks and park connectors that are sprouting all over island. And a visit to the Punggol Waterway Park should adds it to most visitors' lists of favorite parks.
The natural attributes of the rustic Punggol waterfront area are a certainly well utilized in the topography of this park. It's called Punggol Waterfront Promenade and an extension of the waterway park. The floral and fauna, the relaxed walking path (cycling path) alongside Coney Channel, rest shelters, playgrounds and a host many amenities add up to a fabulous park. It also have a "hub" consisting of a Popeye eatery, two seafood restaurants, cafe and fish-tanks fishing outlet all within walking distance of each other.
Parking at the venue is not free and charged via automated machines. So getting a lot (or even entry to the car park) can be a challenge come dinner time when plenty nearby residents converge for meals. I saw many parked along the "quiet" lanes just outside the car park getting a booked for illegal parking.
The park name with it's different zones may give rise to some confusion for driver using GPS or smartphone map apps for orientation, as it's a big place and have several entry points. For easy reference, just use the Popeye fast food restaurant as you have arrived at the venue. Set aside at least half a day, ending preferably in the evening to better savour the venue. And one visit is never enough.....

Lazy to post pics this time, there are many available..just Google lol or in my next review...
I try to make it a point to jog after or before yoga session at Punggol...on one side, is the way to Punggol Waterway Mall and onwards to Sengkang connector..or slight detour to Punggol Marina and Seleta r Link and all the aerospace factories...On the other side, is the path to Oasis Terrace n a bit further Coney Island and the Serangoon connector..etc etc
Occasionally, if u r lucky, u can catch the otters family...and a very big lizard or is it the komolo dragon ??? Coney Island is under renovations but still accessible...will probably review it once completed.

Relaxing and a great and clean place to walk and chat. It is the longest man made waterway as water catchment for sg. You can birds and biodiversity here. Nearby there is the Punggol Waterway Point and Safra Punggol slaking this lovely Waterway.

There is a pool at Safra. Perhaps there are lockers for rent there. I am not sure.

You can park at the shopping mall, Waterway Point, next to the MRT. It's about a 10 mins walk to the Jewel Bridge. Alternatively, there are HDB car parks at the blocks nearby.
