Gracias a marco aurelio ya que no solo nos hace un recorrido sino que nos ayudo a conectar con la montaña humantay, siendo así una experiencia única dándonos a entender la importancia de respetar y cuidar de la pachamama... Mil gracias!

Rainbow Mountain was a tour we did with Arsa. When we booked we didn’t know who was going to provide the service.
Picked up within the time frame promised by a guy called Beto who turned out to be our guide. He was a good guide with sense of humour and plenty of info to fill us with.
The bus was a bit oldish with no safety belts in working condition.
The breakfast and lunch were included in the overall price (50soles). There were clean toilets available.

Un tour muy bueno, excelente experiencia con el guía marco Aurelio muy atento y amable, esperaba hasta el último turista, muy pendiente del grupo, me gustó la meditación que se realizó al lado de la laguna, se siente una energía de conexión al estar con la mente en calma, un choque de sensación de energía renovadora, muy buen buffet en el almuerzo, buen estado del bus de transporte. En definitiva un tour recomendado.

We used this company to travel to Vinicunca.
The tour was terribly disorganized. We woke up at 4am and went door to door to pick up several travelers which took 2 hours. We were taken to a location for breakfast where there was one bathroom for approximately 100 women. This location was dirty and disorganized.
After getting to Vinicunca the travel guide disappeared and could not be found until after we climbed and descended from the mountain. We were later taken back to the same location for lunch and had to wait in a really long line to get food. The food was terrible.
This trip was exhausting and a waste of money.
Would never ever recommend this company to anyone.

Arsa tours is contracted by other companies...
I went to rainbow mountain with them.
I was promised a white van with maximum 20 people. Pickup was at 5am. At 4.30 i got a call from the hotel lobby that a man was waiting for me. It was a big, old bus. No heating, no airco.
Almost 50 people were picked up. We got blankets to keep warm, 1 blanket for 2 persons. Even the driver and guide had a blanket. I had more legroom in the plane coming to Peru.
The bus stopped to fuel and buy bread. Waisted 30 minutes that way... precious hiking time...
Driver ignored a stop sign from a road construction.
I am a good hiker and arrived at the mountain with 30 minutes to spare. Not enough to go to the red valley (fuel and bread stop!!!)
As I returned, I had to wait more than one hour for the slow hikers (could have done the red valley) and at that moment I saw a really dangerous situation. The driver was fixing a fuse with some copper wire (see photos)... that can cause a fire, especially with an old bus. I told the guide that was dangerous and he just said OK... he asked for 6 strong men to push the bus so it would start! Really????
I was dropped 4,5 kilometers from my hotel while a drop off was included (after a difficult hiking day). The guide had no idea were my hotel was so he just said: plaza is three blocks that way...
To summarize: they use old dangerous busses to transport people to the mountain and don't care about the experience...
If you end up with this operator: good luck!

Arsa tours is contracted by other companies and can turn into a disaster. They supervise guides and transportation for the 5 day 4 night salkantay trek. However guides do not speak English or Spanish. Transportation from Hydroelectrica is extremely disorganized and there is no system. Also our bus driver was stopped by police and had no documentation. He additionally was nodding off while driving and almost caused 3 accidents. Office staff is dismissive and unhelpful if you happen to have a problem. Beware.

Arsa is who we went on the 5 day 4 night Salkantay Trek with. We had a number of problems which I will list.
1. Though promised, our guide did not speak any english and he wasn't even intermediate in Spanish.
2. The guide didn't seem to know how long each day would take or have any prior knowledge of the landscape or history.
3. The transportation back from Hydroelectrica was awful. We couldn't find our van and only one of our names was on the list and it was wrong and it seemed like a last minute addition. The driver didn't have correct paperwork when stopped by the police. The van itself was breaking down and didn't have seatbelts. He drove erratically and seemed half awake the whole time.
4. We left two pairs of boots in the van, which was admittedly our fault, but the next day when we told them right away they refused to help us and gave us the wrong phone number to pursue the matter further.
Overall very dissatisfied.

Très mauvaise organisation: 2 personnes oubliées au départ, Hôtels non réservés à Agua Calientes, Retour vers Cusco mal organisé. Aucune solution trouvée par la boite: débrouillez vous!

This was a fabulous experience for us. Both Edwins made sure we had a memorable experience. We were allowed to have input on stopping times and places, we were encouraged to stay out of the heat with great advice on wake-up times and siesta times. The food was plentiful and very tasty. All in all I could not have imagined this hike to go as well as it did, nor would I have anticipated that there would not be one set back along the trail. I would go again with this group on another hike and highly recommend the company to others.

en mi viaje hacia salkantay con la empresa arsa tours fue una experiencia muy buena con la atencion y el servicio del viaje con muy buenos guias que te ayudavan con toda duda que tuve en la comida muy exelente demasiado buena¡¡¡ solo agradesco a la agencia por esta experiencia tan bonita gracias¡¡¡¡¡
