Una Iglesia maravillosa en cuanto a sus altares y el trabajo que denotan una dedicacion impresionante. Lamento si que no dejen tomar fotos por ordenes de Cura Parroco, asi me informo el guardia del lugar, lo cual me sorprendio, siendo que son obras monumentales, casi patrimonio de la humanidad y que si en otras iglesias de similares caracteristicas si se pueden tomar fotos. pero si recomiendo su visita.

Pasando medio hora ya se aprecie fácilmente la importancia de la iglesia, sobre todo en el pasado. Muy bueno de ver algunos toques de la influencia de la cultura indígena en partes de la decoración Española.

We visited the San Pedro Church on our walking tour of historic downtown Lima, booked on the Holland America ship Volendam. This is a beautiful church and certainly worth seeing. There is so much history in this city.

La iglesia de San Pedro ubicada en el Centro de la ciudad de Lima es una antigua joya de la arquitectura colonial y es visitada diariamente por cientos de turistas.
Esta ubicada muy cerca de la Plaza de Armas de Lima y junto con la capilla del Sagrario ha sido testigo de muchas ceremonias religiosas de la aristocracia limeña.
En su interior podremos apreciar bellas imágenes religiosas asi como pinturas de la escuela Cuzqueña.
