We couldn't find the guide - they did not have a sign for us

We booked a tour with Lima City tours in advance as we had 2 days in Lima. We did have to pre-pay part of the tour. Once we arrived at Miraflores the Cruise drop off in Lima, we couldn't see a sign with our name as promised - as we were 5 Min early we started to walk up and down and look at all the guides/traxidrivers waiting but couldn't see a sign, we waited for 2 more buses to arrive and drop off people and also were close to the bus exist - but we couldn't find any sign for us. We did not have a local phone/data plan and were unable to contact Jhnony. We did a tour with one of the locals - after being back on the ship we contacted Jhnoy right away as we also booked an evening tour and we wanted to make sure that there is really someone to pick us up, as we arrived again there was no sign, after walking around for another 10 Min my husband saw a person with a white folded paper and walked to him - sure enough that was our sign except we couldn't see it. To top it off they wanted us to pay then for the whole morning tour too. We were accused that it is our fault - as I do not think it is me to have to hold up the sign.
In the end we paid still less money to take a local taxi driver who (after we talked to fellow cruise members) did the same tour as we did. Only difference is that we likely got less back ground information and history but that is not a big deal for us. And we also never got our pre-paid money back - as we got told we did not show up (but we did wasted nearly an hour including both times searching for them)

Best priced private tour in Lima!
Jhony went out of his way to accommodate us. He was punctual on time and made sure we stay together as group. You wont find a better tour at the same affordable price. Thanks Jhony

A nice surprise
Great tour! We came with no expectations, but it was actually really great and a good deal for the money.

The guide was nice and really flexible with schedule and we got time to enjoy every part of the tour!

The degustacion which was some random extra activity which we didn't care much about, revealed itself to be actually one of the highlight of the trip, with great explainations and many nice tastings.

Totally recommended

i think this trip can t be improved..all in all a Desaster when you compare the price with the experience...30 second Photostop at huachina..almost 9 hours of driving and 2 hours waiting time

Para empezar no nos recogieron a la hora indicada. Al contactar el asesor envío un carro al hotel una hora y 15 minutos después. Y contacto otra excursión que no era de ellos y la alcanzamos a la hora de espera de ellos. Por lo que entendí íbamos varias agencias en ese bus. Y yo esperaba una camioneta. Logramos hacer la excursión pero no recibimos lo que compramos con trip advisor

Great Lima Tours to Discovery Incan History

I went on the Pachacamac and Lima City tours, both with great guide named Enrique. Both tours were terrific. You learn about Incan culture at holy site of Pachacamac and at the fabulous Larco Museum. I highly recommend both tours.

Really poor service

Booked and paid for a private city tour before leaving the UK. Communication from Jhony was good at that stage. However, we were badly let down. Failed to turn up at our hotel and could not make contact via the mobile or office numbers.
We were only in Lima for a day and a half and this shoddy treatment ruined our stay as we spent almost an entire morning just waiting around.
Do think twice before using this company or Jhony as they/he appear to have done this on more than one occasion - see other reviews.
The only saving grace is that our money was refunded but that does not make up for the disappointment.

Super belle expérience

Parfait pour ceux qui n'ont pas beaucoup de temps pour visiter. Le bus est confortable et climatisé (très important en particulier après Huacachina ;) Le guide était super sympathique!
