Nos costo bastante dar con la dirección ,cual sorpresa nos llevamos,,,,aun no estaban instaladas,,mejor llamar si tienen su teléfono para no perder el viaje.

First off, I have to explain how I came about Musas. I’m an American expat living in Peru. My wife teaches at a school in Lima and I do some consulting work for a telecommunications business. While we usually travel to my in-laws during the Peruvian summer, this year we (finally) decided to trade the harsh winter of Bridgeport for the warm climate of the southern hemisphere. Anyways, if we were going to do summer in Peru, we had to do it right – which meant getting some serious beachwear. Admittedly, this would have been a relatively easy task with the increasing access to luxury brands in Lima. But, it’s my wife we are dealing with here. She did not want the typical “Agua Bendita” or “Victoria’s Secret” bikini. She wanted something different and perhaps more youthful. As she enters both her early thirties and probably maternity, this might be one of the last summers she has to flaunt her booty without receiving judging looks. We spoke to some of our more ‘hip’ friends – all regular Barranco trekkers – and they suggested we visit Musas at the Suspirarte Casona. The recommendation was right on. My wife loved the bikinis. The prints were unlike anything else we’ve seen in Peru (NY imports, we’re told) and the fit was perfect. The size-medium bottoms were definitely on the edgy side for Peruvian standards, but it was the right amount of skin for my wife. She bought three bikinis but we sure are coming back for more. In fact, Claire is psyched to show off her find when we spend July at my parent’s house in Southampton – so we’ll probably need a little more Musas for then.
Beyond the product though, the buying experience is quite the treat. I wrote this review at my wife’s insistence, but I do feel compelled, at a personal level, to recognize that this was an especially enjoyable purchase. The store is close enough to feel the sea breeze. In addition, the girls who helped us were lovely and spoke perfect English. I must also note that there is a restaurant at the Casona. While I didn’t have anything, I did, at least, have the chance to sip on a beer while Claire tried everything on.
5/5. I recommend Musas profusely.
