Muy buenos precios, si buscas artesanías o souvenirs no lo recomiendo pero a 3cuadras está la tienda Eliana quien vende artesanías hechas por mujeres de penales, además de llevarte cosas lindas apoyas su proyecto.

Этот рынок расчитан не столько на туристов, сколько на местных, и работает здесь веками. Огромный выбор продуктов сельского хозяйства и животноводства - всё, что в местных долинах растёт - тут можно купить.

Still day tripping from Sacred Valley, this place is a nice rest stop with restaurants and markets. Lots of fresh food, join with the friendly locals for a drink and chat!

We visited the market on a Wednesday. This is a large market that is divided by product type. Great selections of fruits and veggies. The flowers were abundant and so colorful. All around a great place to walk around and experience .

The colors, the variety, the people are all wonderful and I just love visiting markets. We went on a Sunday and I'm told it wasn't as crowded as other days.

In August of the year 2019 I had the opportunity to visit the urubamba market, a magical and picturesque place, the pets next to their owners, sale of fish, meat, fruits, all-tasted breads and form a great experience.

What are the days and hours the market is open? Is the market in the center of town?

Primary market days are Wed, Fri, and Sun. This is when locals from all over the area come to do their selling and buying. It is open the other days as well, but these are the big market days.
The main market is in the center of town, one block off the main plaza, but on market days the entire area is market.
