This is an amazing property.
Tambo del Inka was our base of operations for 3 nights October 2024 as we toured the Sacred Valley. The setting was beautiful, right next to the river with views of the Andean foothills. The property itself was astounding with beautiful interior spaces, garden areas and a path along the water. The food at the hotel restaurant was great, although, given Peru's rich culinary history, you really should get out at least one night. The staff was so helpful and so attentive, really beyond compare. If you are travelling with children, and even if not, the Quechuan vendors and the baby alpacas are a real treat. So many thanks to @kensingtontours.com for booking us here. You all are the best.

We stayed at tho hotel and booked massages for two consecutive days. The service was amazing, our masseuses were Angeles, and Marilia.

Tambo was a great oasis after a long international travel to reach the Sacred Valley on our way to Machu Picchu. The staff are all very attentive. The room was huge with a nice patio to relax in the sun.
I enjoyed the free local beer tasting and the rest of the family enjoyed the aqua-circuit spa treatment. The indoor-outdoor pool is quite unique and actually very warm.
Buffet breakfast was diverse and huge. Dinner was quite nice by the large fireplace and the “chocolate soufflé” for dessert was the perfect yummy finale.
A tad pricey but a great stopping point on an amazing journey.

This hotel is lovely and quickly became our favorite during our trip to Peru. The rooms and grounds are gorgeous and the setting is on the river. The staff was warm & welcoming and the breakfast buffet was delicious. We had a light dinner/snack in the bar and the food was good. Also had a massage for a full 60 minutes fro the equivalent of around $75 USD! Highly recommend this hotel, it was a pleasurable experience.

After the excitement (and physical exertion) of discovering the magical world of the Incas, from Cusco to Machu Picchu, we wanted two days to relax and assimilate all the experiences and impressions of the past 8 days. Tambo del Inka was the perfect spot! Set in spectacular nature (mountains, river and lush indigenous gardens), the hotel has the feel of a spacious lodge, with rich interior decor that celebrates local artisans and culture. The hotel has everything we love about leading Marriott properties everywhere: exceptional service and heavenly beds! Add to this an outstanding Spa with indoor/outdoor pool, an excellent hydrothermal circuit and excellent spa treatments (I recommend the Terepia de Lujo and the facial was very good too). My therapist, Jessica, was excellent. We had ground floor rooms, opening on to a lovely terrace with direct access to the tranquil garden - definitely worth it vs. the other rooms which only have a small balcony. After all that relaxing in the garden and spa, the hotel restaurant completes the indulgent experience. The food - all locally sourced - is divine! Definitely try a Pisco Sour and order Peruvian win - they have some excellent local vintages. All staff are exceptionally helpful and thoughtful, but special mention of Willie and Alexander who really raise the bar on subtly attentive service. We traveled with our 3 children and they were wonderfully welcomed in the hotel. Their highlight was the Andreas Crepe-making class. It was tremendous fun and extremely well organized. The hotel offers a number of other interesting activities, including Pisco Sour mixing and bread-making. Net a truly delightful experience and wonderful way to round off an absolutely amazing trip - PERU SHOULD BE ON EVERY BUCKET LIST!

跟團遊去馬丘比丘，安排入住這酒店，在一個鄉村地方竟然有這級數的酒店，很印加氣氛，由大堂到房間木器甚多，令人舒服，spa也是水準之上，可以一試！

Just as the other reviews say, the hotel's setting is just perfect and pictures don't really do it justice. The town of Urubamba is not much to write home about but there are a couple of good restaurants (Casa Colonial, El Huacatay).
The dinner and breakfast at Hawa was excellent and Irma and Willie (among others) took great care of us.
Jossie at the concierge desk was a highlight of the stay as she was extremely helpful, spoke great English and really focused on our preferences for the trip.
I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking to experience the Sacred Valley.

How do I get a reservation here? When I tried using the link here on Trip Advisor for Marriott it said NO dates were available to book at all.

Hi, I am staying at the hotel for two nights in February. I wanted to stay there since it is lower elevation than Cusco. My question is, is that I want to do a group tour of the sacred valley, not a private tour. Does anyone know of any agencies that do group tours of the sacred valley that start there and not Cusco. Seems all I can find is tours starting from Cusco.
