Fantastic museum showcasing Pre-Columbian cultures of Peru. The exhibits are well laid-out and explain each culture in depth.

A truly fantastic place!!, museum with so many beautiful things to see about Peruvian culture. You feel that you can travel in time, the beauty and that it is in the sacred valley where you can observe the wonderful mountains.

I enjoyed how visual this museum is, as well as the easy to follow layout. It’s a great pitstop when traveling through the sacred valley and worth 45 mins of your time. They also accept credit cards for payment.

The museum is very well placed. It is even too realistic in certain rooms, it helps you understand the pre-Hispanic cultures of Peru very well.

Our family of 5 with 2 adults and 3 children ages 12, 15, and 17 toured this museum this week and it was wonderful. It was detailed enough to learn about the pre-Incan cultures, and not too detailed to lose the attention of our children. We took an hour as we were on a schedule but probably 1.5 hours would have been even better. We were with a knowledgeable guide, which was helpful. The artistry of the displays was impressive. The descriptions are in Spanish and English. This is worth your time and money and we recommend going.

This is an excellent museum where we can learn about the different cultures in Peru. Each culture has its own exhibit, very well organized and good English explanation. Highly recommended!

Getting to know each culture, in a conditioned environment and with such beautiful scenery, generates interest in continuing to investigate our history.
The museum is located in a trace, easy to get to with your own mobility or with local mobility.
Admission has a cost, it is important to find out before arriving.
Then they can continue visiting the surrounding places.

The Museum is a combination between dioramas and some pieces. The main attraction are the first, but, anyhow they have in exhibition some originals. It is not the kind of museums where you find a lot of pieces. The design is clear and not overdone.
In my opinion is a very different museum that deserves to be seen (if you like a new category: Archaeologic Wax Museums).
