Definitely a must visit to get a complete picture of Albania’s 20c.history.
Very sobering and sad, but a well made story with all info in Albanian and English, audioguides available.

Such a great thing to see and experience, smaller than BunkArt 1 but still very good to see.
Being closer to city centre is much busier so see it early in the day if possible.
Make sure you have cash as they didn’t accept card (hard to believe being a museum).
Great insight in the history of the Albanian people.

The ticket office doesn't accept payment by card.
We're not particularly surprised, nobody does. Even though... Even a museum?
The price for the whole family is 22.000 lek. We only have euros. "Ok, 22 euros then".
We have been dealing with this crooked "1 to 1" conversion system for 2 weeks now,and we don't mind paying a little extra to local activities.
But a museum, a place of cultural promotion, replying (literally) "we are not an exchange office"?
No, thank you.
Too bad, this was supposed to be the highlight of our stop in Tirana, but all the same, bye bye.

Viel zum Lesen und ausser in der Landessprache nur auf Englisch. Es hat zwar nicht übermässig viele Leute, doch man hat den Eindruck, das es sehr voll ist, weil halt alles eng ist. Liegt Mitten im Zentrum bei den anderen Sehenswürdigkeiten

Thought provoking, and a must see to understand the regime that has shaped today’s Albania. Can get quite busy which could make this challenging if you’re claustrophobic.

My top tip would be that if vsitors are queing up to the top of the entrance steps, turn around and come back later! We visited on an early evening and joined a queue that ultimately lasted over 40 minutes to get into the attraction. Once inside it was super-cool being under the heart of the city in this top-secret bunker and many of the exhibitions and displays were well thought through and put together to give you a good insight into life under a communist dictator.
It felt like it was all a little too crowded in there at times, and it was difficult to fully read and enjoy the exhibits due to the number of people in quite tight spaces (it's a Nuclear bunker after all!). I'm not sure if we were just unlucky with timings, or the attraction needs a bit more info on busyness / crowd control. I would say that if there's no (or a very small) queue I suspect it would be a much better experience.
Alternatively, if you have time, head out to Bunk'Art 1 which is a half hour bus ride away, and a much bigger and more fascinating facility!

The museum was interesting. We were there yesterday and unfortunately it was crowded. The girl at the cash desk was very welcoming.

It was a great experience and a very informative one. Learned a lot about the communist regime of Albania. It cost like 7€ which is a great deal. One thing I would have liked is If it showed more physical things of that period instead of being bombarded with written information on the wall. But all in all a unique experience

I wasn’t impressed. Starts with a history of the police and onky gets interesting once you get to the section on surveillance after 1945. They allow too many people on at same time so too crowded to read panels. There’s not much on the actual use of the bunker at the time

Good visit to learn about Albania’s interesting history but fairly crowded in a narrow bunker & not very interactive. Would still recommend !

If you have visited BunkArt1, is it worth visiting BunkArt2 as well? Or do they show pretty much the same thing n different locations?

We didn’t get to BunkArt1, but I believe it’s different enough to warrant a visit, it’s close to Mount Dajti. You can also take a short taxi ride to Ceren Ishmet Shehu, a great restaurant nearby. Those 3 can fill up a good portion of your day.
