A small but beautiful historic mosque. It consists a prayer hall, a porch and a minaret. Not big but elegant in shape. There are stunning murals depicting trees, flowers, rivers and waterfalls on its portico.
Information shows that the interior decoration and murals are even more beautiful. Unfortunately, there was a church service during my visit and was unable to enter it.

I don't understand all the enthusiasm put into the reviews. Make no mistake, the mosque is worth seeing but if you get excited it is obvious that you have never seen beautiful mosques. This is nice but very small. being in the center obviously worth a visit.

An historical mosque located at the city center. Not really fancy from the outside but interiors are pretty nice. The mosque was closed during the communist era but reopened. One of the major tourist attractions in the city.

It's the classic mosque in town. We noted that it is located in the upscale part of the center near the cool restaurants and cafes. So as a religious institution, it holds an important piece of real estate.

the caretaker really grumpy and inappropriate for the place he occupies, mandatory offer, with a lot of turnout the visit really lasts a couple of minutes, because it lets you out, also there is no place to put your shoes and with a lot of turnout you are forced to go out barefoot and put your shoes out in the cold, maybe for an adult it is also manageable while for a child it is not a very manageable thing.

The mosque overlooks the square. Small size, soberly decorated.
Don't miss it! It is one of the few sites currently open to visitors in Tirana. Many others are closed for work.
Free visit but the “donation box” is indicated with a heavy insistence at the entrance.

Nice building on the main square of Tirana. Particular frescoes on the walls, free admission at certain times of the day with free offer.
Being a mosque you have to take your shoes off at the entrance. An example of peaceful coexistence, both in Tirana and throughout Albania, between Islam and Christianity. Not far away is the Cathedral of the Resurrection.

What time does the Mosque open at and what time does it close? I am hoping to visit on either Monday 2nd July or Tuesday 3rd?

Normally the Mosque is open all the day, but unfortunately it is under reconstruction by the government. I dont have detailed information if it will be open to visitors. Whereas for praying is closed. If you go to city center you can pas by, maybe they let you in.
