JARUN lake is a beautiful park almost every free days I am going there,but recently I have a very bad encounter with kids,I was sitting in the tower and then 1 young man approach me,we shake hands and suddenly another group of kids came,and they call me phidopile for nothing and starting to hit me and ask for money,good thing that 1 family help me to find my eyeglasses that is fell on the grass.so be careful with some kids in zagreb.

Blissful more and was not crowded in September, lots of opportunities to eat and drink. Definitely recommended to get away from the city and swim

Just about 8 tram stops away from the city centre, is Lake Jurun. This place has a big lake where you ride a bike, swim or just stroll.

Nice place to visit on a sunny day. Lots of sporting activities and a public swimming lake. Bit run down but adds to the experience.

Dirty lake in a horrible area..... and then, sorry, updating the roads a bit is very difficult? It's literally impossible to reach the parking lots of this lake without ending up in the middle of racetracks or streets completely at random where the navigator practically tells you "okay, leave your car here and continue walking to get there", too bad that it also applies to the phantom paid parking lots that we could not find in any way and that even the locals could not point us

Even with little time in Zagreb, it's worth spending a day in this area. It has all the conditions to relax, breathe fresh air and walk. There are several cafes and restaurants in this area. Spend a day in nature within the city.

Lovely place.
Clean, tidy greenery... with an area for rowers and an area with beaches.
In summer it must be a place for young people.

A local friend of mine took me here for dinner just before returning to Italy, and it was the perfect end to my weekend in Zagreb. The sunset on this lake/park much loved by the inhabitants of Zagreb is beautiful, where the atmosphere is calm and relaxed, and walking for several kilometers doesn't feel difficult at all.

The tram station is about 5-6 minutes walk from the entrance to Jarun, tram no. 17. Go to Ronin sport bike and ski rentals web site for information on bike rentals on Jarun
