The Bucharest Foodie Walking Tour was fantastic!!! I rarely write reviews, but this tour was exceptional. Laura was great and she told us so many things about Bucharest. The food was amazing! Go hungry! I loves every minute -- Laura was the perfect guide and I highly, highly recommend this tour!!!

My wife and I took two tours from Step by Step, the Jewish Heritage Walking Tour in Bucharest and the Food & Culture Tour in Bucharest. Both tours were terrific and helped make our stay in Bucharest more memorable. Laura and her team know their subject matter extremely well and presented a well organized tour. We didn’t feel rushed and in fact felt like we were spending the time with a friend. I would recommend any of their tours to anyone spending time in Bucharest and want to learn about the city and country and their history.

Getting to know the local cuisine is always worth doing such a tour but I liked the restaurant/bar tour best because local tours are always fun

Emma gave us a great private tour of some less touristy areas of Bucharest! We really enjoyed the food choices and the walk, learning about the city and Romanian history! Great way to spend a few hours in a new city!

We had booked a private, rather niche, architectural tour of Bucharest. Christina was super knowledgeable guiding us off the beaten track showing all the architectural highlights. And the best were the stories behind the urban development. No overloading with dry facts and dates. Highly recommended.

We had a lovely time on the food & culture tour, enjoyed some lovely local food and saw some amazing local buildings, with Ioan being a great guide. We also did the belle epoque tour with Ioan the following day which was very enjoyable.

Laura is a perfect travel guide. She works with great commitment and is extremely committed to her groups. She laughs a lot and can see people's needs very well. The tour and food were excellent and the time very entertaining.

Laura devised a unique experience including background, historical significance, and current uses for the Jewish synagogues, neighborhoods, businesses,and architecture. We were treated to several other lecturers who provided detailed stories of these buildings, but the best was the Jewish theater w Chagall-esque windows and Yiddish productions. This tour is a must for anyone with an interest in Jewish Romanian life. 5+ stars!

(unfortunately there are no facilities for persons in wheelchair inside the Romanian Athenaeum and inside the churches that
are included in our itinerary :( .
Duration of the tour: approx. 2,5 hours
total price for small groups (1 or 2 persons): 70 EUR, payable in cash at the end of the tour.
