Never seen anything else like it

I took the chance to take a look after a meeting and it was worth going to see. It's so much bigger and more impressive than I imagined. The spray is lovely on a hot day and the sound of the water drowns out the traffic mostly, making it very pleasant experience.

I didn't go to a night time lightshow but I really wish I had had time to.

Primero la ciudad vieja y después un paseo a la plaza para seguir hacia el Parlamento.

Estar en Bucarest de visita y no acercarse a sus maravillosas fuentes, las que preceden al paseo que lleva al parlamento, no tendría sentido. Sí, una intervención de un dictador con sueños de grandeza, pero en la actualidad una gran obra para disfrutar.

Nice place to sit for a while

The number of fountains and their displays makes the square quite unique. Even though this is the site of a busy intersection, it still manages to be quite relaxing and peaceful!

Reportedly the night light displays are worth seeing - I visited during the afternoon which I can also reccomend.

Senza fontane

Illusi da quanto avevamo letto sulle fontane luminose, scopriamo con nostro disappunto che non c'è niente di tutto ciò, forse perchè siamo a febbraio. La piazza di per se non dice nulla, per cui 2 stelle sono già tente.

The largest square in the city. Except for the artesian wells, nothing remarkable. Surrounded by new and banal buildings on three of the four sides, on the fourth side is the Hanul lui Manuc/Manuc's Inn, an old building but just as boring as the new ones.
