The bar was very cozy, the tour leader was very welcoming and was keen to give information. On the wines themselves, some were more tasty and refined than others. Overall very nice variety of offering. The prices though were in my view not corresponding to the offering of glasses and cuts, considering this is taking place in Bucharest.

Excellent wine tasting experience. We booked directly for our first evening to give us some help with Romanian wines for the remainder of our trip. Dario was a wonderful host. Lovely charcuterie board to accompany. We highly recommend.

Fantastic wine tasting experience of excellent quality Romanian red wines accompanied by a meat and cheese platter. Knowledgeable host who made the whole experience really enjoyable and informative. The Fetească neagră grape is a new found favourite! Highly recommend you visit this wine bar even if only for a glass.

We booked ahead for the wine tasting which was an excellent way to spend an evening in Bucharest. The host is very welcoming and incredibly knowledgeable on local wines. Romanian wines are an undiscovered gem! As mentioned in other reviews the pours are very generous and you get to sample an excellent range of high quality wines from across the country. Highly recommended when spending a long weekend in Bucharest!

Don’t hesitate to book Abel’s wine bar - the staff are the nicest people to book with - from email reservation right through to serving us on the day they made me feel a friend in their own home. The drinks on offer were fantastic and it’s great to try something new. Dario and the team bent over backwards to accommodate our group and even put up an instagram post summarising our experience - do not hesitate to book!

The owner is friendly and really well prepared on wines. There is a great variety of wines, to be paired with snacks and charcuterie. We went there for a glass of wine after dinner and came back the day after. We really had a good time. Highly recommended!

Thank you to Dario for his expertise in explaining the wines, the region and tastes. It was a great afternoon of tasting local Romanian wines in a lovely bar.
The meat and cheeses that accompanied the wines were delicious, I would recommend and visit again!

The wine was delicious! There was a large selection of meats and cheeses to snack on and our host was really friendly and knowledgeable. I went by myself and had a lovely time with others during the tasting. We stayed for another three hours drinking wine and laughing. I would definitely recommend this to others!

A very cute, friendly wine bar with an incredible selection of wines and a knowledgeable proprietor. We came here for a couple of glasses of Romanian Red before heading off for a meal elsewhere.
