O Theathre Guild of Ancon te confesso que é desconhecido de muitos panamenhos. Talvez somente a comunidade dita "gringa" sabera mais detalhes. É um teatro de 1950 com muita historia para contar. Fica na regiao de Ancon e tem um charme cult que aos "cabecudos" vai encantar. Só tem pecas em ingles en cartaz e e na verdade uma casa e um confortável pequeno teatro com aprox 100 assentos e um palco super próximo. Fui assistir Shakespeare e me amarrei na experiencia.

Went to see Panama Hattie with the American Society of Panama. This is a well run group of enthusiasts that put their hearts into their work. The guild is made up of volunteers at all levels. Admission was only $15 and also included a free alcoholic drink, and finger foods at intermission. Such a deal.
Don't go expecting a grand ambiance of a world class building. The structure itself is a converted home. For me, this makes up part of the quaint appeal.
I highly recommend you attend one of their productions. You will not be disappointed.
