Par où commencer.. 45 minutes de retard en attendant à l’hôtel sans aucun avertissement (ils avaient mon courriel et mon whatsapp….) la route est telle que telle, nous avons choisi (2 jours 1 nuit) de faire les activités la première journée et de dormir sur une île et de nous reposer le lendemain. Rendu sur la 2 eme île de la journée le guide nous dit que c’est le moment de payer.. le prix à changer ce n’était plus $185 mais 195$ par personne car l’île sur laquelle nous dormions étaient plus chère finalement… j’ai demandé à parler à son boss et je me rend compte que c’est un numéro du Québec (drôle de coïncidence je viens du Québec)… je parle avec Manuel pour me faire presque traité d’attarder et qu’il a la confirmation que c’était 195$ par courriel… tu devrais apprendre à lire car tu étais dans la mauvaise réservation… pour finalement perdre 40 minutes à m’obstiner lors de la dernière activité (ce qui l’a gâché)… au retour encore 45 minutes de retard pour nous récupérer sur l’île où nous avons dormi… dans prevenir ENCORE UNE FOIS
Les gens de l’île étaient super sympathiques sinon
L’erreur de prix est arrivée à d’autres personnes sur le bateau… ils ont essayer de leur charger 30$ de plus par personne prétextant que les îles étaient différentes…..
Ils nous prennent en défaut une fois dans l’activité sans moyen de se défendre car le guide ne parle pas bien l’anglais
Des bons crosseurs comme on dit en québécois… sympa au moins de s’obstiner dans sa langue avec Manuel :) au plaisir

The beaches are BEAUTIFUL, definitely worth it but nothing can prepare you for how bumpy the ride there is lol

Lorsque nous décidons de visiter les San Blas le programme 3 jours 3 nuits de San Blas trip nous séduit car il laisse à penser (par le nom des îles listées) à un beau périple de 5 îles dans un périmètre vaste de l'archipel. Or, les îles que nous visiterons ne sont pas du tout celles annoncées sur le site internet et tiennent dans un mouchoir de poche (toutes à 10 mn de lancha les unes des autres).
Je pense qu il aurait été correct et poli que l organisateur nous informe avant le départ de ces changements. Nous avions échangé plusieurs mails...
L'organisation est bien rôdée, nous étions toujours attendus. Les prestations rudimentaires sur 2 îles nous ont convenues par contre sur Franklin, les matelas étaient très très sales et vraiment inconfortables. Il est grand temps de les changer.
San Blas trip n'y peut rien mais il faut savoir que les Kunas ne voient les touristes que comme une pompe à dollars et qu'il n'y aucun ou très peu d échange avec eux (le choc des cultures !)
Les îlots sont magnifiques : eau turquoise et sable blanc, on fait le tour en 15 à 30 minutes en prenant des photos !
Un paiement par internet serait également le bienvenu car cela fait un peu drôle de donner 600 dollars en liquide - sans justificatif bien sûr - à un chauffeur de taxi en pleine nuit !!
Depuis notre retour, j'ai constaté la mise à jour de la liste des îles... donc, plus de surprise !

The agenxybthemselves were very easy to work with, everything went as planned and they were available by email throughout. We had a few changes up until the day before we left dur to illness and they were understanding. We booked for a private cabana but the first resort said it was dormitory so just be sure you have a copy of the confirmation. It wasnt a problem though, they accommodated us properly.
The big downside for us was the very very very basic accommodation which made the trip feel overpriced. We stayed 2 nights on 2 islands and the cabanas were just beds on the sand. Sheets were damp and no fan so if you used the mosquito net, it became very very hot. If you didnt, you risk insects dropping on you throughout the night. That said, many of our fellow companions were satisfied, it was just too basic for our standards- we were prepared for rustic but this was a bit less than that. we didn't sleep well for the 2 nights.
The travel to and from the island is kind of hardwork. The transport is good and the 4x4 is new but the roads are terrible. On our journey back and ended up vomiting due to the bumpiness for about 1 hour of the drive.
Overall the agency was good and the islands were absolutely beautiful. would recommend a visit but I would also look for half decent accommodation/sailboat itinerary and possibly fly rather than drive in.

Was Awesome. Randomly decided to go and met up with one of the guides, Manu, at a bar. He was very upfront and worked very well with our needs. When it came to the actual day tour he took care of us and we connected well. Didn't know what to expect but everything was as advertised and I couldn't ask for more... especially when dealing with environments you're typically not used to.
Definitely recommend this to anyone going to Panama and hit up Manu. He's great to work with!

WoW !!!! San Blas... le paradis à mon avis !
Nous sommes parties, moi et mes 3 amies de notre hôtel à Panama City vers 5:30du matin ! Manuel et le chauffeur sont venus nous chercher à la bonne heure ! Nous sommes arrêtées sans problème dans une petite épicerie, question d’avoir quelque chose pour déjeuner dans la voiture. Le trajet de 2:30 s’est bien déroulé. Les paysages sont à couper le souffle. Rendu, Germain, notre capitaine de bateau a su nous mettre à l’aise très rapidement . Nous nous sommes arrêtées sur 2 îles (nous n’avons pas fait la troisième à cause de la pluie) et à la piscine naturelle... Nous avons pu faire de l’apnée, se baigner et même pêcher. Le dîner (inclus) était parfait :)
Je recommande cette activité, que de bons souvenirs pour moi... La prochaine fois, c’est certain que je dormirai sur l’île :)

Io ed una mia amica, abbiamo passato 4 giorni e 3 notti sulle isole San Blas, prenotando con sanblastrip.com. Manuel, persona cordiale e premurosa, e’ venuto a prenderci all’hotel a Panama City con puntualità e ci ha accompagante al porto. Lí, ci aspettavano i ragazzi del Kuna sea Express, che ci hanno portate sulla nostra isola (Isla diablo, un paradiso). I paesaggi sono mozzafiato, il mare e le spiagge da cartolina, i Kuna dell’isla Diablo sono molto disponibili, organizzati e discreti. Tuttavia il capitano della Barca ‘el tiburon’, si è dimostrato poco professionale, disorganizzato (ha più volte tentato di farci dormire in un dormitorio, nonostante avessimo pagato la quota per le capanne private, e lui ne era a conoscenza). Ha dimostrato avere una netta preferenza verso alcune turiste della Germania, continuando ad offrire loro bibite tra cui BIRRE, Coca-Cola ecc.. gratuite in continuazione anche durante i pasti (tutte le bevande erano escluse dal pacchetto e sull’isola si potevano acquistare per 2$).

NO VIAJEN CON SAN BLAS TRIP. Nos pasaron a buscar por el Hotel con una camioneta Toyota muy vieja y en mal estado. Tenía 7 asientos y nos tocaron los dos del baúl que eran pequeños ( casi para niños) e incómodos para un viaje de 2 horas.Chofer imprudente en caminos de montaña. El viaje en lancha a las islas fue en una lancha a cargo de dos jóvenes indígenas ( no sé si llegaban a los 18 años) no sabían nada y apenas hablaban español ( se comunicaban en idioma indígena). Nos dejaron 2 horas en una isla donde una india nos quiso cobrar 2 dólares por un coco que estaba tirado en la playa y que mi hijo agarró, luego nos sirvieron un pésimo almuerzo con un pescado frito flaco que no tenía carne con unos patacones duros. Todos no quedamos con hambre. De regreso en la lancha y ya con marejada por la hora, los jóvenes indígenas la aceleraban a toda velocidad imprudentemente saltándo las olas. Hemos pasado un día horrible. No viajen con esta gente

I am mostly going to echo what others have said here. The pickup at my hotel went fine. The jeep ride to the port is definitely gut wrenching. We had one very sick young woman in our vehicle. I give the driver very high marks here.Yes, he was driving fast, but when he realized that she was sick (she was crying), he stopped twice to put her in a more comfortable seat and slowed down. He really tried.
Things are chaotic at the port. Somehow, they gave me the wrong bracelet, one for an overnight stay. I was on a day trip. Then later told me I had to take it off which made me an orphan. Your bracelet defines what you get.
The boat ride to the island was also rough. I was sitting on the outside and got soaked. It was overcast, and this was not very pleasant.
The first island, Diablo, that we arrived at was lovely. It had a really nice beach area. Unfortunately, for day trippers we only stayed here for 10 minutes. We went to another island that just didn't have as much sandy beach. There were too many people for the area available. This was our major stay. I brought a snorkel, but there really wasn't anything in the water to see. And no ship wreck snorkel as promised.
Throughout, the young men who were running the trip were pretty sketchy with information. When we got back to the port, I was completely ignored (no bracelet?) until I started asking where my ride was. Then in Panama City the driver tried to leave me in a dodgy alley insisting that my hotel was there. I refused to get out, and he made some calls and finally took me to my hotel.
After all that, I don't exactly regret the trip. I am not really a beach person, and there were an awful lot of rough edges. But, I think many people were quite happy. But just be aware to look out for yourself. Panama Travel Unlimited who booked the trip were extremely honest about the fact that the trip would have difficult spots. I don't think it was misrepresented at all.
Oh, one more thing. It is a really long way to go for a few hours of beach. Consider staying overnight.

Super journée à la vallée d'anton. Manu nous a récupéré comme prévu à notre hôtel et partagé sa passion et sa bonne humeur avec nous toute la journée. Très sympathique avec son accent québécois. Nous avons passée une excellente journée

Hola ! Il y 2 iles possible avec cabane sur piloti. Narasgandup210$p/p et wailidup230$p/p. Pour le tour avec l épave cest inclus dans le tour. Le tour pour le village Kuna serait un autre jour et appart du prix initial.

You don’t need to go on an escorted trip. Its easy to go on your own and have a true adventure. Columbia and Panima are safe places and its very easy to set up transportation and accomidations.
Buenas, quisiera saber qué costo tiene un tour a San Blas desde la ciudad de Panamá y que se podría hacer en el tour? Es posible hospedarse en San Blas?

Was it Barefood ? I had similar experience with them last year They didn't deliver what was promised.

My best reccommendation for all the travelers is to contact the kuna guides directlys. Barefoot and a lot of companys are not directly. They pay the taxi boats for the tours. Contact to guna guides companys as viajes a san blas, san blas experience, guna yala explorer

Nosotros vamos a Panamá de 26 de Deciembre a 3 de Enero y nos gustaria saber si és possible hacer una viaje de 1 dia a San Blas.
Nosotros somos un matromonio con 2 niños y nos vamos a quedar en la Playa de Isla Bonita. És possible hacer la viaje de San Blas a partir de Isla Bonita?
Tambien nos gustaria hacer el snorkling...

Hola !! No hay problema para recojer ustedes à la playa isla bonita à la 5 am. Por la fecha sera mejor despues el 27 déc. Precio 140$/pp por el pasadia y por Los Niño depende de su edad.
