My company's corporate plane flys in and out of here. Very convenient - nice people and close to key areas of Augusta

I visit MIF frequently with a pilot friend. But I have done the scenic flights and the intro to flight package. Both super fun and very unique ways to spend a few hours or as a gift.

I visited to check on prices for a ride, but we did not go. The pricing was very reasonable. This is a family business, and well run. The tiny Augusta airport would not be the same without this building.

Maine Instrument Flight provides the customer with a full palate of services from selling aircraft fuel to major repairs to pilot training to aircraft charters. The latter is interesting because I always thought that would be an expensive way to travel, but it turns out it is not--especially when you consider that more than one passenger can travel for the same price!
Also, the vacationer should keep in mind that the Company offers scenic flights in Maine--what a way to enjoy the beauty of this State!
I have purchased fuel there, done my proficiency training with their pilot-instructors, as well as availing myself of other of their services and products.
And in all of this, I cannot stress that they are concerned, first, for safety of flight, then for outstanding customer service. Maine Instrument Flight has been in operation for almost 70 years and they take a long-term view of customer relationships. I like that!
I recommend them without hesitation.
